Circular walking paths and labyrinths are used world-wide as a way to quiet the mind, calm anxieties, recover balance in life, enhance creativity and encourage meditation, insight, self-reflection and stress reduction.
1. Start by taking deep breaths, to help bring focus and to relax.
2. Consider a contemplative question, intention, or favourite image to hold in your mind before you step onto the path and begin walking.
3. Slowly and intentionally walk the path.
4. Once you reach the centre, take time to reflect.
5. Retrace your way out.
