sea glass song

THE HISTORY OF
a fractal of what I once was hard edges, razor sharp perimeter litter from what was once a good time spirited away by the tide
they take me deeper into a lonely wine dark underworld where everything is a constant push and pull
I was no longer part of a larger whole
I drifted aimlessly, helplessly freezing cold water shoving me back and forth upside down
all I could do
was follow
where the current
took me
I thought the sea storm would never end
time glided through me and all around me
just when I thought the storm would never end, I could hear the hush of sandy shores
I was softer now, smoother, too the waves rolled me back to earth
