Upon entering, you’ll be greeted by the attentive team, sumptuous surrounds and fresh-from-the-runway designs from Pronovias, Mary’s Bridal and the boutique’s in-house label, Magnolias, ensuring gorgeous choice from minimalist chic to regal romance.
Adding to their lust-worthy list, the boutique is now home to Wilderly Bride, whose beautiful boho confections present the dreamiest of looks. Picture soft textural laces, seductive silhouettes and feature sleeves for a modern yet whimsical take on romance. Sultry fishtails, floaty sheaths and flattering A-lines are just some of the glorious gowns available, all of which showcase today’s top-trending features including detachable and dropped sleeves, intricate lacework and billowing skirts.
And if you haven’t found ‘the one’ by the end of the summer then fret not, for the new French Collection by Wendy Makin will be arriving in-store. Expect demure and en vogue styles such as fitted shifts, exquisite ballgowns and elegant slips dripping in details including 3D floral appliqué, patterned lace, dazzling beadwork and elaborate embroidery.

SO IN LOVE!
The latest dresses from coveted Australian bridal designer Made With Love have landed at St Ives Bridal Boutique – and what can we say? We’ve seriously fallen for these swoon-worthy designs, where figure-sculpting silhouettes meet sequinned tulle, French crepe and handmade laces for the most showstopping of bridal looks.
Meet Mila, for example, a fitted beaded beauty combining a layered bodice with open back, delicate shoestring straps and in-built train; or Archie, whose draping cowl back and double French crepe make for a sexy and sophisticated pairing. Then there’s the seductively deep plunge and hand-sewn 3D lace of Louie, while the hand-beaded sparkling lace fishtail of Ryder epitomises modern romance. The dazzling dresses take their place on the rails of the seaside boutique alongside some of wedding world’s most-wanted designers, including Willowby by Watters, Eliza Jane Howell and Rosa Clara.
Hot new bridesmaid label alert! Nola London is a sustainable and stylish collection created by best friends Sophia and Abi, who have combined their eye for design, values and vast fashion industry experience to create chic designs your bridesmaids will want to wear again and again.
Handmade to order in London, a mindful and eco-conscious approach is at the heart of the brand. The beautifully constructed dresses are made from sustainable fabrics and finished with recycled plastic zips and recycled polyester labels. From contemporary midi cuts and separates to floaty, feminine silhouettes and glamorous, floor-sweeping designs, there’s a look for every wedding vibe in colourways ranging from subtle mist grey, sage green, and blush pink to bold mimosa yellow and midnight blue. We love the twopiece Romy dress in oyster grey (below, right) and the Emily dress in blush pink with its off-the-shoulder puff sleeves (below, left) – a gorgeous choice for fashion-forward and eco-conscious bridesmaids.

PARTY ANIMAL
New from Sophia Webster, this cute ivory marble and gold glitter clutch bag is the ultimate accessory for the party of your life!
Tucked away in the elegant climes of Truro’s Princes House, Elaine Rawlings Bridal Boutique is home to a hand-picked collection of freshfrom-the-runway bridal wear from some of the biggest names in bridal fashion.
US bridal designer Justin Alexander is renowned for creating timelessly chic gowns as glamorous as they are gorgeously wearable. With a focus on craftsmanship and intricate details, the latest collection is awash with form-sculpting silhouettes, romantic embellishment and a pinch of high drama. Think embroidered lace, off-the-shoulder Mikado trumpet gowns, curve-hugging fit and flares, and sparkly tulle for bridal fashion of the head-turning variety.
Then there’s Lillian West. A must-have for the boho bride, expect softly flowing skirts, illusion bodices, dimensional lace, and striking floral adornments that smack of free-spirited fashion. From plunging V-necks with open backs to sultry off-the-shoulder flounce gowns and long-sleeved chiffon frocks, the collection is unashamedly ethereal. Rounding off the collection, Sincerity Bridal is brimming with modern romantic gowns that ooze femininity, featuring illusion and open backs, portrait necklines, ruched bodices and floating appliqués in a range of shapes to flatter all brides.
Peruse these designers in the recently revamped boutique, which has just received a lockdown makeover. Freshly painted interiors, a new floor and a striking dried flower display by Hayley Scott Blooms add to the ambience and, with a specially made signature soy wax candle added to every bride’s goodie bag, a trip to Elaine Rawlings promises to be a heavenly experience indeed.
