is the ND Day of Giving?

ND Day of Giving is a 24-hour fundraising event bringing together alumni, parents, faculty and staff, students and friends to raise funds in support of the School’s mission. Tuition alone does not cover the cost of a Notre Dame education. Gifts of any size to the Fund for Notre Dame are welcome, and you can designate the program of your choice. This is our favorite day of the year in the Advancement office. The office is decorated, we play Irish music around the clock, we welcome our students, faculty and staff throughout the day to share in some Irish theme treats and green punch. We don’t often get the chance to just chat with the students so it’s a great time for us to get to know them and educate them a bit on what we do.

What are ways that ND parents, alumni, and friends can support the Day of Giving?

Your participation on March 17 will serve as a meaningful statement about your family’s Notre Dame experience. You can support us by making a donation and sharing on social media to spread the word. At ND, we use a giving platform that has been very helpful in creating unique websites for each and every campaign we have. Our goal is to raise $50,000 in 24 hours.

WHAT IS THE SPRING FLING?

The Spring Fling Gala is the largest event that Notre Dame sponsors to advance its fundraising efforts. It will be held Saturday, March 25 at the Trenton Country Club.

What is new for this year’s Spring Fling?

This year our Spring Fling will feature a sit-down dinner, instead of a cocktail reception from previous years. This will give our guests the opportunity to enjoy all the night has to offer. Of course there are many wonderful gifts to be auctioned off - but most importantly - money raised this year will go to support the ND Merit Scholarships.

The Merit Scholarships are crucial to keeping Notre Dame competitive with other schools in our area.
