MONDAY, JULY 22 BRENTWOOD An unknown subject threw river rocks at a Fairview Court residence and shattered four exterior windows. The individual then drove a vehicle through the lawn causing excessive damage. A city garbage truck caught fire on Emerson Lane. A subject on Brentwood Boulevard reported receiving harassing text messages from an unknown person. An individual driving a stolen vehicle on Trent Place was found to be in violation of his parole. Two subjects engaged in a verbal altercation on Kramer Court. OAKLEY A marine hazard was removed from the 100 block of Lauritzen Lane. A suspicious circumstance was reported on the 2500 block of Main Street. A subject committed an act of shoplifting at a business on the 4500 block of Main Street. Vehicle parts were stolen from a vehicle parked on the 1000 block of Vineyard Drive. DISCOVERY BAY An abandoned vehicle was located on Biscay Court.

TUESDAY, JULY 23 BRENTWOOD On Myrtle Beach Drive, two subjects engaged in a verbal argument were found to be under the influence of alcohol and unable to care for themselves. They were arrested and transferred to the Martinez Detention Facility. An unidentified subject stole two birthday cakes from a grocery store on Second Street. Estimated loss: $44.98. A resident found a backpack while walking along Lott Drive. The backpack was entered into the police evidence depot for safekeeping. On Guthrie Lane, a subject smashed the window of a vehicle and stole a laptop and tablet. An individual smashed the window of a vehicle parked on Brentwood Boulevard and stole a purse. The victim’s credit card was used at an unknown location. OAKLEY A vehicle accident with injuries occurred on the 4900 block of Empire Avenue. An arrest warrant was issued on O’Neil Court at Main Street. A residential burglary was reported at the 4600 block of La Vista Drive. A bicycle was stolen from Daniel Drive.

WEDNESDAY, JULY 24 BRENTWOOD On Cavendish Court, a parked and unoccupied box truck caught fire. The rear door of an Oak Street business was kicked in, but nothing was taken. Estimated damage: $500. An individual forced entry to a car parked on Griffith Lane and stole a purse and iPad. A three-car collision occurred on Lone Tree Way. A subject attempting to steal alcohol from a business on Sand Creek Road was arrested and taken to the Martinez Detention Facility. A driver collided with a mailbox on Orchard Drive and fled the scene. OAKLEY A subject driving on a suspended license was pulled over on the 1300 block of Main Street. An arrest warrant was issued to a subject on the 100 block of Roger Lane. An unidentified subject threw an object at a vehicle on the 2000 block of Main Street. A subject was found to be driving under the influence of alcohol at the corner of Amador Avenue and Francisco Villa Drive.

THURSDAY, JULY 25 BRENTWOOD An unidentified subject intentionally started a fire on the side of a Brentwood Boulevard business. The business suffered damage to the exterior. Cost of damage and repairs is to be determined. An unknown subject stole a purse from an unlocked car parked in the garage of a Diamond Springs Court residence. A purse was found on Lone Tree Way. OAKLEY A vehicle accident with injuries occurred at the corner of Empire Avenue and Neroly Road.

A hit and run was reported on the corner of Main Street at Vintage Parkway. A case of identity theft was reported on the 300 block of West Ruby Avenue. Felony vandalism was reported on the 1300 block of Main Street. DISCOVERY BAY A suspicious circumstance was reported on Dolphin Place.

FRIDAY, JULY 26 BRENTWOOD On Lone Tree Way, a driver collided with a pole and fled the scene. The vehicle was later found, and the driver was determined to be under the influence. The subject was arrested and taken to the Martinez Detention Facility. A driver ran a stop sign on Oak Street and broadsided another vehicle. On Campanello Way, the window screen on a second-story, front-facing window was torn. The resident was unable to determine if the tear was intentional or from a cat. A resident on Balfour Road received a fraudulent check in the mail for furniture he listed on Craigslist. The tires of a car parked on Larkspur Lane were slashed. A Second Street resident found a cell phone in his home that did not belong to him. OAKLEY An adult was reported missing on the 1000 block of Rosemary Lane. A juvenile runaway was reported on the 5000 block of Miguel Drive. Arson was reported on the 4800 block of Bayside Way.

SATURDAY, JULY 27 BRENTWOOD An unidentified subject took $715.44 in tools from a business on Lone Tree Way. The

subject threw several punches at the loss prevention officer and dropped the tools while attempting to flee. All merchandise was recovered. The officer was not injured in the encounter. On Claremont Drive, a subject was found to be intoxicated and unable to care for herself. She was arrested and released to her parents. A subject stole a San Francisco Giants jersey and hat from a business on Second Street. DISCOVERY BAY Arrest warrants were issued at Cottage Grove Drive and Bixler Road at Highway 4. A burglary was reported on Cambridge Drive.

SUNDAY, JULY 28 BRENTWOOD A subject on Boltzen Court was intoxicated in public and arrested and transported to the Martinez Detention Facility. A vehicle was towed from Central Boulevard for obstructing traffic and presenting a roadway hazard. Merchandise was stolen from a business on Balfour Road. OAKLEY A vehicle was stolen from the 1200 block of Chianti Way. A juvenile runaway was reported at the 5000 block of Teakwood Drive.
