NUTCRACKER WORKSHOP

Come spend the month of December with us dancing like Clara, the Nutcracker Prince, and the Sugar Plum Fairy! This Nutcracker-themed dance workshop is perfect for young dancers who want to be transported into the Land of Sweets. This program introduces the first dunks and 3-pointers for your little hooper. 6 weeks of volunteer led practices and games get participants familiar with shooting, dribbling, and defense in a fun and team building environment. Every Saturday starts with a quick warmup and practice, and is followed by a non-competitive game. Parent participation is requested. There will be a parent meeting on 12/08. JUNIOR WARRIORS YOUTH BASKETBALL LEAGUE

The Youth Basketball League is open to boys and girls and will focus on fundamentals. The league encourages sportsmanship, teamwork, and basic skill development. Teams are provided one practice per week and all games are on Saturdays. A virtual parent info night will be on 12/08. Practices will begin the week of 01/09 and game play will tentatively start 01/21. Virtual Coaches meeting will be on 12/15, at 6:00pm. We need parent volunteers! If you are able to coach this season please let a representative know upon registration. Coach’s children will be placed with their parents in every division. Friendship Requests are not accepted in highest two divisions. Registration Deadline is 11/17 at 5:00pm.

Cardio Ball Fitness is a cardio class using a lightweight ball that strengthens and tones muscles. Cardio Ball moves are made up of very basic foot patterns that are easy to follow. In an effort to maintain fairness and uphold City policy, the Parks and Recreation Department will hold all registrations received prior to October 6 for residents and October 13 for non-residents, and will not process them until 24 hours after the official registration opens.

General Information

Full payment is due at time of enrollment by cash, check, or Visa/ MasterCard/Discover/American Express. Checks are payable to the City of Brentwood. Returned checks will be assessed a service charge of $18.67. Participants must pre-register for all programs unless otherwise noted. It is the participant’s responsibility to attend the activity or call to verify their enrollment if a receipt is not received. Some programs and sports have different registration dates. These separate registrations will be listed in the guide.

Refund Policy

Our department strives to provide you with high quality programs. Some situations that occur are beyond our control. Withdrawals/refunds could cause the class/ activity/program to drop below the minimum required attendance, which could cause the class/activity/program to be cancelled. City reserves the right to cancel a program and refund under extenuating circumstances. Should you be dissatisfied, please contact us and staff will work with you to the best of our ability.
