La vasca è in acciaio inossidabile. Il piano di lavoro su cui poggia la lastra è costituito da “lame” d’acciaio galvanizzato incurvate e rivestite con un profilo in gomma brevettato che supporta la lastra. Questo profilo viene inciso dal disco diamantato nella parte superiore (che non contiene la “lama” di metallo) in modo da ottenere un taglio netto sulla lastra. Questi profili sono facilmente sostituibili e più convenienti di piani sacrificali in compensato o altri materiali che altrimenti dovrebbero essere impiegati.
VASCA IN ACCIAIO
The tank is in stainless steel. The slab rests on a worktop consisting of bent, galvanized steel “blades”, which are coated with a patented rubber profile supporting the slab. The upper part of the profile (that does not contain the metal “blade”) is scratched by the diamond disk meaning that a clean cut on the slab is ensured. Profiles are easily replaceable and less expensive than the disposable worktops made of plywood or other materials.

IL GRUPPO DI TAGLIO Il mandrino di taglio con disco diamantato è generosamente dimensionato ed è dotato di inverter per la variazione continua della velocità di rotazione del disco, e di tracciatore laser per visualizzare la direzione di taglio. Il gruppo di taglio (mandrino di taglio con disco e testa Waterjet) ruota attorno al suo asse “C” ±190° (4° asse). La pompa ad alta pressione è la KMT/Waterjet 37 kW. Il gruppo KMT si occupa direttamente dell’assistenza tecnica post vendita in garanzia e fuori garanzia attraverso la sua rete di centri di assistenza.
CUTTING UNIT The cutting spindle holding the diamond disk is abundantly dimensioned and provided with both an inverter for the nonstop variation of the disk rotation speed and a laser tracker displaying the cutting direction. The cutting unit (spindle with disk and Waterjet head) rotates around its own “C” axis by ±190 degrees (4th axes). The high-pressure pump is the KMT/Waterjet 49.6 HP. KMT group directly provides the after sale technical service (both under warranty and post-warranty) through its network of assistance centres.
5 ASSI 5 ASSI Alla testa di taglio viene aggiunta l’inclinazione automatica motorizzata, detta asse “A”, fino a 58° che inclina sia il disco di taglio che l’ugello waterjet per poter eseguire per esempio i tagli a circa 45° che sono richiesti per la esecuzione delle velette, inclusa la possibilità di eseguire senza discontinuità cambi di direzione di 90°. La macchina può essere attrezzata anche con un rilevatore automatico dello spessore della lastra nel punto di inizio e di fine taglio così da mediare eventuali variazioni dello spessore della lastra. Sul singolo taglio inclinato non si puo’ combinare l’uso delle due tecnologie di taglio; disco e waterjet. Vantaggi: • COMBICUT permette tagli dritti, curvi e inclinati. • I 5 assi nel taglio con disco e getto d’acqua permettono tagli più complessi e intricati. • Con la tecnologia applicata, COMBICUT, è l’unica macchina combinata nel settore che può produrre forme composte personalizzate quali: laminazione, intarsi, medaglioni, mitre e mosaici.
5 AXIS MODEL 5 AXIS Addition of the automatic motorized inclination up to 58 degrees (called “A” axis) to the cutting head; in this way, it is possible to incline both the cutting disk and waterjet nozzle so as to perform, for instance, the 45 degree cuts required for the execution of rabbets as well as to perform 90 degree changes of direction without interruption. The machine may also be complemented with an automatic detector of the slab thickness at the beginning and at the end of the cut so as to compensate any possible variation of the slab thickness. It is not possible to carry out saw blade/waterjet simultaneously inclined cuts. Advantages: • COMBICUT allows cuts that are straight, curved and inclined. • The 5-axis disk sawing and Waterjet cutting are ideal for applications that require more complex cuts. • Thanks to its advanced technology, COMBICUT is the only machine that produces customized compound shapes such as lamination, inlays, medallions, miters and mosaics.
BRETON MULTITOUCH COMBICUT è dotata di un’unità di governo a controllo numerico continuo (CNC) Siemens Sinumerik 840D SL di ultima generazione a controllo digitale su architettura PC e un Personal Computer con processore Intel e sistema operativo Windows XP. Il quadro comandi è orientabile, con tastiera e visualizzazione grafica sul monitor multi-touch a colori da 19” e porta USB. Una pulsantiera portatile, collegata via cavo alla consolle, duplica alcuni comandi principali (gestione assi + volantino, arresto d’emergenza, ... ). La consolle è dotata di joystick per movimentare in modo intuitivo i vari assi di lavoro motorizzati. Tutti gli assi sono mossi da motori brushless Siemens.
COMBICUT is equipped with the latest-generation Siemens Sinumerik 840D-SL continuous computer numerical control (CNC) with PC-based digital control and a personal computer with Intel processor and Windows XP operating system. The control panel is swivel-mounted and provided with key-board, graphic display on a 19-inch colour multi-touch monitor and USB port. A hand-held button panel, which is cable-linked with the control panel, duplicates some of the main controls (axes + handwheel control, emergency stop, etc.). The control panel has a joystick for moving intuitively the different motorized axes. All the axes are actuated by Siemens brushless motors.

PRODOTTI INNOVATIVI PER IL TAGLIO ALLESTIMENTO Disponibile anche nella versione con scambio automatico dei piani di lavoro Nella versione base COMBICUT è dotata di piano con profili di lavoro fisso, costituito da una vasca in acciaio dotata di lame “a consumo” per il sostegno della lastra in lavorazione. COMBICUT è configurabile con un sistema (opzionale) di scambio automatico dei piani di lavoro, che consente di predisporre fuori macchina su di un piano di lavoro la lastra da tagliare, programmandone lo schema di taglio, mentre la macchina sta tagliando un’altra lastra e quindi di scambiare in automatico i due piani di lavoro, aumentando così la produttività.
Vantaggi: • Il disco diamantato e la testa a getto d’acqua con inclinazione pari da 0°÷58°, permettono all’operatore la massima flessibilità nella realizzazione di pezzi e parti dei piani cucina. • La sicurezza è assicurata da una barriera di protezione frontale costituita da una serie di porte scorrevoli e ampie porte di ispezione, garantendo la conformità con le norme di sicurezza USA/Canada, offrendo un funzionamento più silenzioso e proteggendo il personale da detriti volanti.

MACHINE CONFIGURATION Version with automatic system for worktop exchange In its basic configuration, COMBICUT is provided with a worktop consisting of a steel tank, which is equipped with “gradually deteriorating” blades for supporting the slab currently being processed. COMBICUT can be supplied with an optional system for the automatic worktop exchange; the system enables to place the slab to be cut on a worktop outside the machine (programming its cutting scheme) while the machine is cutting another slab thus increasing productivity.
Disponibile anche nella versione senza fondazioni Nella versione base le spalle sono realizzate in cemento a cura del compratore. Su richiesta (opzionale) COMBICUT viene fornita con spalle in struttura metallica, che non richiedono fondazioni e vengono semplicemente fissate a terra.
Version without foundations In the COMBICUT with basic configuration, the customer must provide for the shoulders supporting the runways along which the reinforced concrete beam slides. On request, COMBICUT may be supplied with heavy-duty steel shoulders, which require minimal civil works and simplify a possible displacement of the machine.

COMBICUT IMAGING FOTO DIGITALE DELLA LASTRA
SLAB DIGITAL PICTURE
La macchina può essere acquistata con un dispositivo per scattare foto alle lastre. Le foto possono essere catturate mentre la lastra è posata sul supporto inclinato davanti alla macchina, oppure nella versione con dispositivo automatico di cambio pianale, mentre la lastra si trova sopra la rulliera di carico, o anche in caso sia già posta, sul piano dove verrà tagliata. La App Slab Editor viene usata per aggiungere con un dito le informazioni necessarie per la lavorazione, come la definizione del perimetro e dei difetti della lastra.
COMBICUT may be purchased complete with a device for taking pictures of the slabs. The picture can be taken when the slab is on the A-frame in front of the machine or while the slab is in the loading area (if the machine is equipped with the automatic system for worktop exchange) or when it is placed on the worktop where the cut will be performed. The “Slab Editor” App is used to add the information needed for its processing, such as the setting of the slab perimeter and defects, with a simple finger touch.

La macchina COMBICUT DJ/NC 500 è stata brevettata in Italia con il brevetto n° 261.163 il 9 dicembre 2008 e in Europa con il brevetto n° 740.359 il 5 settembre 2007. Il 14 dicembre 2009 l’ufficio europeo dei brevetti dell’Aia, Paesi Bassi, ha respinto la domanda di nullità e ha deciso a favore di Breton confermando il suo brevetto.
The machine “COMBICUT DJ/NC 500” was patented in Italy on 9 December 2008 with patent nr. 261.163 and in Europe on 5 September 2007 with patent nr. 740.359. On 14 November 2009, the European Patent Office in The Hague (The Netherlands) rejected the demand for patent nullity and decided in favour of Breton, thereby confirming its patent.
Tutte le macchine prodotte da organizzazioni diverse da Breton in cui viene eseguito il taglio a getto d’acqua / lama combinata sullo stesso piano di lavoro, costituiscono violazione di brevetto. In data 23 febbraio 2010, il brevetto n° 11 / 245555-3658 è stato concesso per gli Stati Uniti.
All the machines produced by companies other than Breton where the cutting operation is carried out by a Waterjet combined with a disk on the same worktop, are considered as a patent infringement. On 23 February 2010, the patent nr. 11/245555-3658 was granted for the United States.

Breton presents MiterWave, the hardware/software package to produce miter cuts for folded edges using waterjet technology, with exceptional accuracy also when working on non-flat or even undulated slabs, as may sometimes occur with thinner materials.
Il MiterWave rileva in modo continuo con un laser l’effettiva altezza della lastra e corregge automaticamente le traiettorie di taglio ottenendo velette dimensionalmente sempre perfette che richiederanno minimi aggiustaggi in fase di incollatura.
MiterWave uses a laser to measure the real height of the slab constantly, and automatically corrects the cutting paths to obtain folded edges of consistently perfect dimensions that will call for only very minor adjustment at the time of adhesive bonding.

BRETON MITER-BOARD Il Miter Board è un software facile da usare perché è parametrizzato e dedicato alla realizzazione di piani inclinati con la Combicut impiegando il taglio a getto d’acqua. Eseguendo un taglio continuo inclinato con un angolo che varia in modo continuo è possibile ritagliare da una lastra un pezzo di forma rettangolare che poi una volta ricollocato e incollato nella stessa lastra si presenterà leggermente inclinato. Un ottimo risultato ottenuto in una ventina di minuti di lavoro in macchina. Prima di incollare il pezzo può essere opportuno lucidare il sottile bordino che rimane in vista. I principali vantaggi che derivano da questo modo di eseguire il piano inclinato sono: • È molto più rapido ed economico che non facendo lo sbancamento e quindi lucidando il piano inclinato (che può richiedere un paio d’ore) • Grazie alla rilevazione dello spessore effettivo del materiale eseguita con Miter-wave, si ottengono risultati di ottima qualità anche in presenza di lastre non perfettamente piane. • Il lucido sul piano inclinato ha la stessa tonalità del lucido del resto della cucina perché è lo stesso materiale • In caso di materiali venati in tutto lo spessore le venature sul piano cucina continuano sul bordino e sul piano inclinato. • Si ottengono ottimi risultati anche su materiali smaltati venati.
The Miter Board application is user-friendly because it is parameterized and dedicated to the creation of inclined surfaces using the waterjet cutting function of the Combicut machine. By making a continuous inclined cut at a constantly variable angle, a rectangular piece can be cut out of a slab and then repositioned and bonded to the same slab in a slightly inclined position. The optimal result can be achieved on the machine in around twenty minutes. Before the piece is bonded to the slab with adhesive, it may be advisable to polish the narrow edge that remains exposed. Main benefits of this method of producing inclined surfaces: • Much faster and cost efficient because milling the inclined surface is no longer needed. Only the polishing stage is required (taking up two hours) • Miter-wave guarantees exceptional quality results even when working with slabs that are not perfectly flat through the measurement of the effective material thickness. • The polished inclined surface has precisely the same colour as the rest of the kitchen surfaces because it is made of precisely the same material • In the case of through-body veined materials, the veining on the kitchen worktop continues through to the edge and the inclined surface. • Superb results can also be obtained when working with glazed veined materials.
