Brett Alexander and is a textiles arts educator and internationally recognised textile artist who has been exhibiting professionally and teaching since 1987. Brett Alexander's artistic outputs have been in the form of high quality examples of practice as research (Sullivan, 2009). These research outputs have been published in the form of exhibitions and catalogues at nationally and internationally recognised art, design and craft museums, galleries and festivals. He has been included in seminal publications on textile arts and crafts both nationally and internationally (Feddersen, 1993; Ioannou, 1997). He has been commissioned by highly esteemed nationally and internationally recognised curators to produce textiles art work for exhibitions both in Australia and overseas.
