THE PHOTOGRAPHER Emily Faulknor
I picked up my first film DSLR camera while living abroad in Prague, Czech Republic as a young teenager. I was spoiled to learn the art of photography in one of the most architecturally rich cities in the world! But you know what? I’m really more of a people person. I love nothing more than grabbing a cup of coffee with a dear friend, or meeting someone new and making new friends. That’s what I hope for with you - to make a new friend! Seven years ago, I decided what I wanted to be when I grew up. A mother and a photographer. I’m so happy that I’ve been able to achieve both dreams. When I am behind the lens of my camera, my spirit of creativity comes alive. I hunger to draw out the personality of the beautiful person I’m capturing, and to tell their unique story. Having recently moved back to Redding January 2013, my name might be new to you - but hopefully our experiences shooting some of the most glamorous weddings in Southern California will speak to our experience as photographers who know how to make any young woman feel like a princess as she graces the front of our lenses. I so look forward to working with you to immortalize this ever so special time in your life with beautiful portraits that you will cherish for life! I can’t wait to meet you!
