A Ben Duffy List
1/9/2015
GOAL: To attempt clear, concise, and consistent communication from the Brevard College community to Brevard College constituencies on some important facts and figures. TOOL: A Ben Duffy List, which will be updated regularly through ELT Individual ELT members distribute BD list/communicate responses to their respective audiences. The BDL will be updated as needed throughout the year. WHAT TO COMMUNICATE: The Brevard College Message: Experiential means connecting knowledge to action, highly‐engaged, reflective, hands on, and then applying that knowledge. "At Brevard College our students build a resume and not just a transcript," according to Dr. Scott Sheffield, Dean of the Faculty. Small means intentionally sized and personalized. (A small campus and small student to faculty ratio). "We choose to be small to have personal relationships between faculty and students." Location in Brevard means a culturally vibrant community that offers trails, waterfalls, and other out‐of‐classroom experiences. Affordable. With scholarship and grant opportunities, Brevard College can be affordable. Academic Information Accreditation
