What I did
What I thought
First week Worked and researching talked in our group, talking and finding the UNICEF organisation Discussing the presentation and a timeline on what needs to be done
I personally wanted to research an organisation that would give medical supplies, food and shelter to a remote African country. However, working with a group, I also realised the importance of donating to an organisation helping with providing education. I feel very happy due to the fact that we are already preparing a presentation for Ms. Peddlesden moving for a free dress day. We also have a diverse group with good standings within the school. I am passionate about eduation being available for everyone
28Timeline for the We really need to 7-15 group have a structured and organized way of knowing what to do and when the tasks have to be organized. I believe its good to put this section in my group's collaboration space. 30Listened to the 7-15 structure of great speeches
The problems that need to be tackled include: finding a way to raise money. this is effective in that this world only runs around money. Without money things are just simply nothing.
It's funny. I said I was going to do something but in the end I didn't do it. I can wait and wait and wait and spend my lifetime saying I will do something great but never actually getting around to doing something great. Ironic? Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This Ted Talk was How is this a My biggest challenge for this very problem, a project is going to be to get informational. We problem? things done in the set time will use this period. Working in a group I structure for the believe this could be done presentation to Ms. by setting everyone small Peddlesden. snippets of tasks to I am very likely everyone. I talked to Noora, Lots of people and now I don't don't have access to education in think there is the world. Perhaps by just our small a need for contributions and the Ted talk we a 'formal' can get people to invest in this. presentation to Mrs. Pedllesden. We'll just pitch the

Free dress day idea --- WILL NOT WORK. I am probably going to talk about the movie night idea in SAC.
How do I make someone be persuaded to come over and help a cause? There is a need for watching entrepreneur videos on YouTube.
I'm feeling optimistic and perhaps now I have to really brace myself and improve my communication skills because of the great need to talk. I feel like an entrepreneur/general going into a great adventure/war.
18Mr. barker 8-15 meeting. A sausage sizzle won't work because there are too much fundraisers going on already. However, he suggested a Bunnings sausage sizzle.
I thought a sausage sizzle would work. Going through backup ideas, I guess we can do the movie night and try the Bunnings idea.
Where do I go next? Obviously, to the next SAC meeting. There is still some hope left. Even if not a lot.
Looks like the adventure was not a very good idea. It does not seem like any idea will work. This is not effective at all in solving the problem. It's just not getting me anywhere. But making a change requires lots of hard work right! So there is nothing to it. I'll just have to push through.
19sac meeting - 8-15 movie night
Success! movie night idea will work but for Halloween. Even if it's not working right now, and can only be done after the holidays, it's alright.
Why am I doing this?
To be honest, I think as a group with Canis and Noora we are doing too much of organizing an activity. I have a feeling we are missing the whole point. So focused on this idea of organizing an event, perhaps I'm just missing the emotional reason for why I am organizing to send money for education. I'm feeling confused.
24started on my To be honest, I'm 8-15 script for the ted not quite sure talk where to start.
Should I write a speech start to finish?
I'm thinking that this presentation should have poetry in it, it will add emotion to this speech. If it isn't emotional already!

to think. Was I wrong this whole time? I'm really stupid. Happiness is not money. Why did I go in that path? What happiness truly is, was always right in front of my face. Yet all this time, I was searching somewhere else, doing something else. the greatest happiness, is the small personal ones, these are the ones that really stick.
proven by years of scientific study that happiness is not directly linked to money. So why am I putting money into the picture. Why am I only thinking that the money will solve all the problems?
important. That gut feeling I had from before seems to have been correct. I'm being too bureaucratic. Unless the change I want to make is a government related job like campaigning for a bill to pass parliament (joseph Tony) case, I don't need to work to send money over. So to raise money for education for less fortunate people.
27watched some 8-15 videos to enhance my understanding and get me more motivated on this matter
I need to watch these videos. Without them, I'm literally going around blind. I thought my path was well lit and paved despite a few bumps here and there, but no I was wrong.
Why do people decide to make a difference? it goes against human nature in the first place. I'm looking at this in a very scientific manner, but hey, still why do we help others? Maybe I should incorporate this question into the presentation.
"If you wait until you can do something for everybody, instead of something for somebody, you'll end up doing nothing for nobody" "It's not how much we give but how much love we put into giving."
27Noora sent a 8-15 message. "I can't believe it- she said that Bunnings only helps groups supporting local fundraisers. I don't know what to do anymore... I'm really upset. I really thought this would work."
Bunnings idea did not work. It seems I found out what I should really do for my project. Personal things that will make a difference. Bunnings idea did not work but I found the true purpose I think.
I'm not sad that the Bunnings did not work, though it is still disappointing, but I'm happy, the movie night will workout fine and I believe I have found the real purpose of this project - what is true happiness and how to achieve it. I feel like I can really do this. Check out this youtube video Now looking back, the reason I decided to do this work, was because I had the standings in the community (SAC) captain and also pretty much had groupings worked out: Canis and Noora. We then browsed for causes that would be of interest to us (something we all found passion and interest in and took the matter from there. More so, I just think that at that time, I thought money was a problem fixer to any problem. Maybe from media influence, we see people helping in the way of money quite a lot (Bill Gates).
30sent message to Asked for 8-15 Mrs. carver clarification. I've learnt that sometimes I really need to confirm then move on.
"Keep on looking for your purpose, your dream. As with all matters of life, like lovers you will know when you have found your dream" Steve Jobs. perhaps, this is what I should do. This would be the thing that would make me feel human.
Questions are in the email to the right
I have realised something quite important. that, what I've been doing so far was just wrong, i realized that before i could make a change anywhere else i had to make a change in myself, the people around me. That i had to act more local to make a global impact. for the speech can i make it so that my change is in appreciating family, friends, my opportunities, my identity, showing kindness, giving charity to the extent i can. of course i will continue
with our original idea of fundraising to send money because there are two parts to this assignment. making a change in myself and steering this feeling into helping others. I will talk about this in the ted talk but i was just wondering can i do this? also, can put in videos in ted talk for better engagement of audience? 1-915
writing out criteria and incorporating it into ted talk
I think it's great that we get to choose our own criteria for the tasks we do. It's not that often that we get to do something like it. Many people don't say anything when asked but some small things we should do and give our own voice, our own opinion on how we should get graded.
why am I doing this? so much bureaucracy, but in the end did I get something done? "love is the hearts' desire to serve someone close to you. To help them, to protect them." Loving everyone around me. I won't have any regrets, if I can do this. "Happiness depends on the person, if you think you are happy then you must be happy." - I think I really have found happiness.
We need to really show that we have learnt a lot in the presentation we do in the end. Things like how our feelings change, WHAT WE LEARN EACH STEP OF THE WAY. I think that showing this and communicating it in an efficient manner, we have succeeded in all ways/aspects possible. No matter how cold and distant people may become, on the inside something warm and precious always remains. Something that never changes, to me that's like friends and family.

Research
I want to get something to really grab others' attention. - poem world problems, who am I - my
Should I make the entire speech a poem? Like the my little girl ted talk example a lady did long ago,
with these poems I have found on the internet, I plan to use them and incorporate them into a nice sequence and make them flow very nicely

to make people really think, I need to employ some tricks. Browsed this website:
which I watched last year.
I don't mean to be How to make people It said: Remind someone of a bad person, listen to you? their failings, and then ask however, I should them about their life, and tap into people's they suddenly feel like their minds and their entire life is equivalent to psyche if I should what they're thinking about really make them at the moment. It's one of think about what the quickest ways out there I'm saying. to make people think they're miserable failures. It also, by the way, works the other way around. Ask people about their accomplishments, and then ask them how their life is going, and suddenly they think their entire life is wine and roses. This is something you can do for your friends.

Did some thinking.
This project is art. It's hard to grade this project. This project is extremely subjective. It's like grading a piece of artwork, it's abstract. How is it going to be graded? That's why I love this project so much.
We're learning about who we are, what our future, personality should be like, this is a chnace to discover our future. We don't really get this kind of chance other times. I love this project.
