Alexander McQueen Re-Vamp A collaborative project executed with Beaty McKnight and architect, David Lisbon, during my time at SCAD Hong Kong under the profession of Christina Kountiou’s FASM 210 Digital Presentation Techniques course. Students had the opportunity of developing a brand diffusion line or re-branding a luxury brand we felt could use a re-vamp under a new creative direction, while also creating a two-look capsule collection; both having to be executed by producing a social event (fashion show) to the launch. By choosing the creative direction route, Beaty McKnight and myself underwent operations of reinventing the legendary brand Alexander McQueen, as an exclusive haute couture fashion house. “Gimme The Loot” Morris Hall Window Concept A collaborative project with Tranise Sharpe, Domonique Holcomb, Yasmin Galdino and Deborah. Students were assigned to concept a window display for an opportunity to be featured in SCAD’s Morris Hall. Playing of the lyrical rhymes of Biggie Smalls, a focus was set on the dangerous urges of temptation and the criminal cravings of desire. Having said, my team and I set out to create an interactive window display where in which five seemingly levitated tiered handbags would be juxtaposed in a recreated heist scene, and as the display is passed every 5-7 minutes, the lasers would be alarmed and move around the display. The project was curated at SCAD under the profession of Dr. Amy Scarborough’s FASM 440 Visual Communication in Fashion course. Beauty Behind the Dom

A trend article and photo shoot were produced under the profession of Anthony Miller’s FASH 419 Current Trends and Forecasting course, where students were required to report on an emerging trend set to be the next big thing in fashion. Having noticed the resurrection of the 90’s era, ranging from the slip dress to Birkenstock, there has been a central focus on the chocker necklace; with style influencer’s such as Rihanna and Kim Kardashion paving the way, a new light has been shed on the fashion forward accessory allowing for new creative styles to emerge and ultimately a more modernist approach behind what was once deemed a choice for the promiscuous. In part, the initiation process is all too familiar to her as she proves herself worthy until things take a turn for the worse, with her ultimately reaching her destined demise. Looks shown were inspired by old school monsters and straight jackets with a play on the new aged “Mean Girls.”

The Bathhouse lookbook

Under the creative direction of Brittany Taliaferro, a fashion editorial was curated for her upcoming Japanese Bathhouse inspired lookbook. Having said, this dragon themed editorial sparked a desire in creating looks that were highly reflective of modern day mystical goddesses. Each look was made possible by combining both streetwear, with contemporary avantgarde pieces in pursuit of forming pleasurable, yet seductive reptilian-like silhouettes.
