shortage of events to share. Speaking of events, our big kick-off to summer was the 13th Annual Lander Brewfest. Big changes included returning to City Park, diversified programming including educational clinics and games, and free / all-age entry to the festival for non-drinkers. Public response was overwhelmingly positive and we appreciate you coming out and participating. Events like Lander Brewfest and Lander LIVE are made possible from local businesses providing integral sponsorship support: an investment in tourism bringing people and promoting commerce in the

T
he wild pace of a summer frenzy has begun. Daylight may be long, but it never seems to feel like enough hours to fit in work, play, friends/ family/visitors, projects and adventures. But there’s one eddy in this seasonal rapid of opportunities: a new, effortless destination for Tuesday nights. In case you’ve missed the hype: this summer the Lander Chamber of Commerce hosts the inaugural concert series, Lander LIVE. Inspired and modelled after cousinmountain towns such as Driggs and Jackson, this “concert in the park” series brings high-caliber musical groups to downtown Lander on four Tuesday evenings from July through September. SOME ESSENTIALS
1) Free. Yes. Nationally touring bands will be FREE and open to all ages. 2) We’re building a stage. The City of Lander and Parks & Rec agreed to the design and construction of a permanent stage in Jaycee Park (the
green space between the caboose and Chamber Office on North 1st). To quote 1990: it’s too legit to quit. 3) We are shutting down the northside of First Street, 5-9pm. Picture a farmer’s market / art walk / block party from the Coalter deck to Bloedorn’s, complete with suntanned friends, wide-eyed

visitors, and favorite local food vendors. Bonus: plenty of places for even the introverts to find a nook and peace-out while crowd watching. 4) Lander Brewing Company will be providing adult beverages (beer and wine) to the interested adults (with IDs), naturally.
EVENTS
Lander LIVE (continued) 5) There’s food. You won’t need to run home after work and whip up a casserole to feed the family. Local food vendors and food trucks will provide a host of delicious picnic fuel, pairing nicely with beverages and music. 6) There’s four total concerts this summer and you don’t want to miss even one. Band brand names, such as the event-kick-off group Lucero, are attracting far-reaching populations to our town. In chamber-speak, this means business and tourism
dollars, filled hotels, busy restaurants, and the summer boost of income that helps us enjoy our town year round. 7) This FREE (did you fully wrap your brain around this $30/$50 per person event being FREE?! Hashtag: interrobang) is made possible by local business sponsors and donations. Fremont Toyota (who also brought us favorite events like the wildly successful 2015 Lander Brewfest) is yet again seeding a cultural and commercial boon. Vendors, volunteers,
TAX FREE DOLLAR LANDER BAKE SHOP opened doors to our first customers on October 7, 2014, and we are ready and excited for our first summer season. We use the freshest and finest quality ingredients and make all of our breads, baked goods, salads, and bagels daily and from
scratch—and the coffee is brewed from freshly roasted certified organic beans from Jackson Hole Roasters. Breakfast and lunch items, baked goods, and drinks are made by our awesome bakers, cooks, and baristas who are part of the bake shop family.
and donations will round out initial expenses and guarantee next year’s programming. Start spreading the Lander LIVE buzz. Mark up your calendars because as we all know, summer is one blink away from November. All you need to do is recover from weekend-warrioring and Monday’s overstuffed inbox and roll on down to Jaycee Park by 5:30pm, hungry and ready to “cut loose by the caboose.” LANDERCHAMBER.ORG/ LANDERLIVE

All members of the band are multi-
instrumentalists and contribute vocals and to songwriting. Elephant Revival includes Bonnie Paine (vocals, washboard, djembe, musical saw), Sage Cook (electric banjo/guitar, acoustic guitar, mandolin, viola, vocals), Dango Rose (double-bass, mandolin, banjo, vocals), Daniel Rodriguez (acoustic guitar, electric banjo/guitar, vocals) and Bridget Law (fiddle and vocals).
BREWFEST RECAP
2015 Lander Brewfest Recap The 13th Annual Fremont Toyota Lander Brewfest was a success because of local business sponsors, vendors, and volunteers. Starting at 7am on Friday, local citizens helped off-load and set up tables, tents, banners, signs, booths, and even a stage. Scientifically measured, over 800 attendees on Friday and 2,000 on Saturday came out to enjoy the region’s best craft beer, excellent live music, and our hometown community vibe. The Lander Chamber would like to thank a benevolent Mother Nature, our business sponsors, regional brewers, ticket holders, non-drinkers, ditch-dancing minors, and City Park: which remains in tact after the volume festival attendees.
