Do You Have a Potential Leader You Want to Foster?

Is there someone in your business or organization who stands out? Do you see him as a future leader in the making? Would you like a way to help her develop those emerging leadership qualities? Already have a leader who desires more knowledge and leadership skills development? Then you might consider sponsoring your future leader to participate in Leadership Fremont County, Fremont County’s very own leadership development program.

Leadership Fremont County: Building a Better Fremont County

Leadership Fremont County was founded in 2003 by a joint steering committee comprised of representatives from the Riverton and Lander chambers of commerce, Wind River Indian Reservation, Dubois Community Project, cities of Riverton and Lander, NOLS, and Central Wyoming College. The purpose of the program is to introduce and orient established and prospective leaders to the great community of Fremont County, identify individuals who have displayed a strong tendency toward civic involvement, and assist them in developing their potential to become community leaders. Participants attend at least nine sessions over a nine-month period covering areas such as leadership skills, decision-making, strategic planning, and coalition-building. Topics examined include area history, economic development, social-economic factors, tourism and marketing, education, and tribal history and relations

Some Lander Chamber Memberships Include an Annual LFC Scholarship

Our Catalyst and Convener membership tiers include an annual scholarship to Leadership Fremont County. What’s more, if in any given year you don’t have an employee who would be a good fit for the program, we allow you to gift your scholarship to another business or organization, even if they aren’t a Lander Chamber member.
