He was a teenager when he died three years ago, a killer whale who was killed in the Salish Sea (probably by a boat). He was known to researchers as J34. But he has now been christened Guardian of the Ocean (kwentens ?e te sinkwu), and his magnificent skeleton hangs from the ceiling at the tems swiya Museum in Sechelt, where an orca mural is also featured.
