Brian O’Kane

Brian O'Kane holds the distinguished roles of President and CEO of the O'Kane Group of Companies and CEO of Klarke Investments. This organization oversees a vast and diverse real estate portfolio encompassing a variety of property types, including multi-family homes, office buildings, commercial spaces, and industrial properties. With over twenty years of experience managing and expanding this portfolio, he has developed deep expertise in financial management, cost accounting, and financial modeling. In 2002, Brian founded several property development and general contracting companies that have significantly influenced the real estate landscape in Calgary. His leadership was particularly notable at Vectus, a general contracting and construction management firm he led from 2011 to 2015. The firm renovates existing properties and develops new commercial and multi-family structures. Before delving into real estate, Brian successfully directed an oilfield equipment manufacturing company, leading it through a period of substantial growth that increased the company's size sevenfold within five years. This growth phase ended with the company's successful sale to a more prominent American firm in 2001. Brian has also held pivotal roles in various other industries. As the CEO of Capitan Overlay Technologies, he managed a critical turnaround, preparing the company for a successful sale. His executive tenure at Flotek Industries as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer helped the company expand its international presence and innovate within the oil and gas industry with technologies like Petrovalve. His early career included serving as the Controller for Cassola Management, overseeing the financial operations of a group comprising 32 companies involved in construction and manufacturing. He also gained significant experience managing financial operations for the Salmat Group in Australia and earlier as a Cost Accountant for Lilypak/Polarcup.
