BRIC is the leading presenter of free cultural programming in Brooklyn, and one of the largest in New York City. We present and incubate work by artists and media-makers who reflect the diversity that surrounds us. Hundreds of thousands of people attend BRIC programs each year, and hundreds of thousands more watch our web and TV based programs. Our main venue, BRIC Arts | Media House, offers low-cost, high-quality media courses, a public media center, and state-of-the-art TV studios. BRIC is the Public Access media organization for Brooklyn. Its community media programs offer residents free access to media production facilities and equipment, and low-cost media education. BRIC’s community media programming also includes three initiatives aired on the five-channel Brooklyn Public Network: community-produced Brooklyn Free Speech; BRIC-produced, Brooklyn-focused BRIC TV; and Brooklyn Bulletin Board, a 24/7 looping announcement service used by Brooklyn nonprofits.
