How Does EnergyAce Home Work? Normal voltages coming into the home fluctuate between 216v and 253v. These standard voltages are the output from the National Grid and you have no control. Whilst most electrical appliances in the home operate more efficiently around 220v-225v, the most common voltage in the UK is 242v. EnergyAce Home controls and reduces the voltage by 7.5% to around 223v, which is a more efficient voltage allowing electrical goods to operate more efficiently and last much longer than that of the higher voltage levels. Simply put, voltage can be described as a pressure. If you apply a higher pressure than needed into the appliance, it will deteriorate quicker than the one that has a lower pressure applied to it. It’s that simple!
Is it Easy to Install? Yes, for a qualified electrician, it is as simple as it gets and would normally be installed within 1 hour.
