EDITOR’S LETTER
There are two types of brides in my opinion. There are brides who have dreamed of their big day since they were little and got to be a flower girl in their cousin’s wedding. For years, they’ve had a Pinterest board dedicated to being a “Future Mrs. Fill-in-the-Blank,” with strong opinions about color trends like “blush and bashful” (a Steel Magnolias reference for any fans out there), and a pre-selected list of bridesmaids that pushes10 women, at least. Then there are the brides who are doers more than dreamers; they know that they’ll get married one day, but they’ll figure out the details when the time is right...my dear friend Victoria Hill (Popoff) was this kind of bride. In early 2016, her wonderful, then-boyfriend asked her if she would spend the rest of her life with him. There was no big secret planning of a surprise proposal, no traditional planning of how to ask the parents, not even a bended knee. All it took was one date, one deep conversation—and the race to the big day was on. Victoria knew that planning a wedding would be a challenge, with all of the typical stuff…ceremony, flowers, cake, Mira East,Victoria Popoff-Hill, etc. But she had no idea where to start. And she didn’t have the slightest clue she would have to make so many deciBlake Steward at the wedding of Devin Hill to Victoria Popoff sions, back to back. Would she like anemones in her flower arrangements? Buttercream frosting or fondant? Elbow Esparanza, Cabo San Lucas length or fingertip length veil? What I love about this issue of Bridal Couture Magazine is that whether you’re a dreamer or a doer we have pages and pages of inspiration, ideas and advice from the newly married couples we have featured. Brides on both ends of the spectrum—from the overly curious to the utterly clueless. You may already have a photographer and a list of shots you want him or her to get. But are you prepared to pose for the perfect picture? On page 24, we went straight to the experts to get their insight of what not to do at a wedding. Plus, there are so many trends surrounding the wedding festivities; brides can sometimes feel like they aren’t measuring up. From the budget to the ceremony, we share some of the hottest trends on page 26. So relax, if you can, as you flip through and get some pointers, advice and ideas. And when the planning gets stressful, try to think back to the Mira East moment you said “yes,” and think ahead to the years of happiness and love you two will share.

What Not to Do At A Wedding!
The official kickoff of wedding season is upon us, so we felt it only right to highlight a few no-nos for those the celebrations ahead. Bottom line: remember that it’s the couple’s big day, and you’re there to offer love, support, and encouragement from beginning to end. Avoid these little (and big!) guest mistakes, and you’ll be sailing smoothly all wedding season long.
Don’t Bring An Uninvited Plus-One
Shop Way Off The Registry
Unless your invitation specifically includes a plus-one, don’t show up with a guest on the fly.
Sentimental gifts are always appreciated, but also make sure to respect the time and effort the couple has put into crafting their registry.
Post Without Permission
When in doubt, pause before you post anything about a wedding to social media, especially big reveals like the bride in her dress BEFORE the ceremony begins.
Forget To RSVP
So much time and effort goes into seating charts and meal planning, so if you plan on attending it’s an absolute must to RSVP.
Cause Drama
A baby meltdown is understandable, but as a grown-up wedding guest, save the drama for your mama.
Make Critical Comments
This is not the time or place to be a Debbie Downer. Remember, if you can’t say anything nice...eat cake and zip your lip.
Show Up Way Too Early
We get it, you’re excited to celebrate. But don’t intrude on private moments before the day officially kicks off.
Wear White
This may seem like an old-fashioned rule, but avoiding white at a wedding is still always a good idea.
Walk Down The Aisle
Show up late? Make sure to enter from the sides rather than walk down the aisle.
Be the Photographer
Don’t be THAT guest who tries to play “second shooter”. Of course, couples always love extra moments captured but make sure you aren’t getting in the way of the professional photographer.
Stay Glued To Your Phone
Make sure to be present and truly celebrate. You can always post your #latergram
Try to Run the Show
Unless specifically asked to be the event planner, leave it to the professionals the couple has hired to let the wedding day run smoothly.
Steal the Mic for a Toast
24 M
It may seem like a good idea in the moment (especially after a drink or two) but just don’t do it.

A IS LE STYLE
Trends for 2017 Curious what the top wedding trends taking over the Pinterest-sphere’s are? What are couples including to create their beautiful bashes? Check out a couple of our must-have list below — and feel free to steal an idea or two!
Cascading Flower Garlands
Whether adorning tabletops or ceremony altars, lush garlands of cascading blooms are a wedding trend that has truly, well, bloomed! We love how Kori & Jared Photography captured Haley and Zach’s floral decadence. Brides are loving cascading flowers draped along the table and to the floor and countless couples are saying their “I do’s” under ceremony structures dripping with yards of fresh flowers. But why stop there? Garlands of greenery have taken the place of traditional wedding centerpieces and table runners as well for a reception vibe that’s undeniably romantic.
Gown Trends
Plunging Necklines We were treated to a sexier bridal fashion week this season, courtesy of a plenitude of majorly plunging necklines. Deep v-neck styles were seen at almost every presentation, from Galia Lahav to Lazaro, Hailey Paige, and more. One thing's for sure, designers are counting 2017 brides to make bold, skin baring choices, and the result is elegantly sexy — perfect for modern brides looking to make a statement.
Bare Shoulders Get ready to bare those shoulders! The offthe-shoulder trend so ubiquitously seen on the ready-to-wear runways, finally trickled its way down to the bridal world. The trend was seeing in both minimal and ornate styles.
Metallic Foil Invitations
Metallics are the new sparkle as brides are leaning to the luxe look of metallic foiled inks when it comes to their wedding stationery. Chic and sleek, these glided invitations manage to be fresh, romantic, and gorgeously glam all at the same time. Your guests won’t be able to resist checking ‘yes!’ the moment they pull that metallic invite out of their mailbox.
26 M
The DJ / Live Music Hybrid
Going crazy trying to decide between a DJ and live music for your reception? Well, so are countless other brides. That’s why couples are now asking themselves, “why not both?” Having a DJ like George, owner of Sounds in Motion DJ spinning contemporary tunes and live musicians accompanying them with classic instruments creates a too-cool party atmosphere — one that’ll keep your guests talking way after the final dance.
Some Flair Oversized bows also grabbed our attention on the runways. All of the designers accented their wedding dresses with oversize bows, be it as a show-stopping back or waist detail, a romantic addition to sleeves, or even attached to jewelry.

Maria & Michael Blohm Married July 9, 2016

After signing up for an online dating website,
Maria was extremely skeptical about finding anyone interesting, let alone the love of her life. So when she deleted her account only to later reactivate it at a friend’s urging, she was shocked to meet Mike the very same day. Two months of online communication later, Michael and Maria met face to face knowing even in their first meeting that something amazing was taking place. Two years into their relationship, after an elaborate and unique proposal, Michael and Maria were ready to plan their wedding! Rich violet would be worn by her bridesmaids and soft ivory would create the palette of the ceremony. Maria had gained a lot of insight into wedding planning and vendor selection from Bridal Couture Magazine. Her photographer, Will Khoury, Sounds in Motion DJ, The Platinum Photo Booth, Sunrise Bakery, Yonan’s Jewelers and Yonan’s Florals helped Maria remain calm and avoid ‘Bridezilla’ moments. She was also able to calmly and efficiently plan her wedding with the help of her family and friends who were more than willing to be of service. Small challenges arose as the couple neared the day and finding time in their busy schedules as

assistant principal and firefighter was almost impossible. Maria and Michael had to step back and remind themselves that these were moments they would not be able to get back and tried to accomplish planning as much as they could together. Before they knew it, July 7th, 2016 was upon them. In the gorgeous Saint Zaia Cathedral, Maria and

Hazel & Alan Chuop Married September 24, 2016
Hazel and Alan’s ceremony was held at

Putting her own flair on the theme, Hazel included succulents into her bouquet of ivory and pink roses and hydrangeas as well as in the men’s boutonnières. Her bridesmaids were dressed in sea foam green chiffon, which offset the bride’s stunning wedding gown: a tulle ballgown with a slight cap sleeve, beaded illusion back and a gorgeous cathedral-length veil. At the reception, the room was decorated with tall, gold candelabras with ivory hydrangeas and pink roses. The couple was thrilled with their beautiful ceremony and reception and knew that because they had kept faith in one another and in God, they were truly blessed.

Married November 5, 2016
Haily and Brett realized how much they cared for one another after
their friendship blossomed into a romance as they entered high school. They had lived near each other, and rode the same bus to elementary school when they were younger, but neither ever knew that one day they would be husband and wife. On November 11th, 2016 the couple was married at The Rivermill in beautiful French Camp, California where guests were surrounded by peaceful gardens as they watched Haily meet her groom on a walkway lined with roses and crepe myrtle. cathedral veil offset the natural scene and a variety of vegetation led the way to the altar set under a majestic native oak tree. During the beautiful ceremony, Haily and Brett pledged their love, faith, commitment, and support to one another. The couple then celebrated their union at their reception, overjoyed to finally be husband and wife. Their wedding cake, a stunning four-tiered butter cream with pleated smooth finish was adorned with olive branches and topped with pale pink and burgundy roses. Magnificent photos were taken to commemorate the special day and the newlyweds wedding details. “A truly magical day and by far the best day of our lives,” said Haily.

E legance & S implicity Marite & Matthew Espinoza Married October 22, 2016
Love can be found around any corner. So when Marite and Matthew met up after connecting online, they were happy to realize that they lived only two blocks away from each other in San Francisco. Marite and Matthew chose the beautiful and quirky Whitmore Mansion to say their “I Do’s” the venue reminding them of their favorite Haunted Mansion ride in Disneyland. They wanted to keep their ceremony simple, low-key, and casual with a touch of bohemian flair. The couple tweaked the “normal” wedding traditions and made it more personal

with DIY style. Marite, with a love of vintage, recycled, and handmade items, found much of her décor at antique fairs and flea markets. She was honored and pleased to be such an important part of her special day. Although planning went very easily, the bride and groom still had their challenges to face. Marite and Matthew found that they had divided opinions on what they wanted for the day, but after making some compromises, the couple was able to execute their vision more clearly. They kept in mind that the main aspect for their wedding was to have their close friends and family
present…and good food! Marite wore a simple, elegant crepe sheath bridal gown with long sleeves. A deep plunge neckline complimented a slim skirt and a chapel length train, a sweet and simple gown for a sweet and simple day. Rich, floral hues and eucalyptus greenery, matched with indigo dyed napkins, brought the casual, bohemian feel and worked well with her bridal party’s wedding attire: mixed and matched floor length navy blue gowns. The men, wearing navy blue suits, matched the bridesmaids, combining the colors into

the perfect palette. Loose foliage with vines, branches, and leaves created a beautiful bouquet and adorned their cake with a foraged, wild woodland aesthetic. William Khoury captured moment after glorious moment of the lovely bride and groom. They had truly made their wedding unique and simple, remembering that the most important part was to let everything fall into place. They kept their ceremony unconventional, and they celebrated with those that loved and cared for them as much as they loved and cared for each other.

Emilie & Michael Sorensen October 22, 2016
estiny has a way of making itself Dapparent. When Emilie and Michael, watching Forrest Gump on their first date, discovered they shared the same favorite movie , they knew they were destined to be together.” Seven months into their eight-month engagement, Emilie had gotten a hefty chunk of the wedding planning out
62 M
of the way and was surprised to find that she was enjoying herself! Having spent her time in the wedding industry modeling wedding gowns for Mira Bridal Couture, working for The Platinum Photo Booth and Sounds in Motion DJ, Emilie had the process down and was able to book the vendors she and Michael wanted with little stress. Therefore Emilie and her family embarked on the
DIY projects and created beautiful and meaningful wedding favors which included caramel apples with a tag saying “He picked her. She picked him.” Tasty and simple. Emilie and Michael wanted to keep their wedding unique, simple, and classic, and went with a vintage-glam theme. Colors of ivory, gold, and black kept it classic
BRIDALCOUTUREMAG.COM
while golden feathers and items inspired by the film Forrest Gump helped to tie the theme in with their favorite movie and first date. Emilie arranged the seating chart, and the guest book, which brought her vintage-glam Forrest Gump theme together perfectly, placing pictures of her and Michael in an antique photo holder with quotes from their beloved movie. Emilie found her beautiful wedding gown at Mira Bridal Couture, an a-line creation with beaded lace, a fitted bodice, and voluminous tulle skirt which captured the theme of her wedding with its vintage appeal and fit. Their gorgeous wedding bands from Ciccarelli Jewelers were stunning and flawless. Everything was coming together seamlessly, just as Michael and Emilie had. On the evening of October 22nd, with Sounds in Motion playing their music, the couple danced their first dance as husband and wife to “Into the Mystic” by Van Morrison, a song that represented love, spirituality and destiny for the newlyweds. With an old vintage suitcase, a box of chocolates, and golden feathers, Emilie and Michael included their favorite quote from their favorite movie… “I don’t know if we each have a destiny, or it we’re all just floating around accidental-like on a breeze. But I think maybe it’s both, maybe both is happening at the same time.” For Emilie and Michael Sorensen, their sweet life together was just beginning.

Danielle & Jeffrey Cox Married June 25, 2016
A Fairytale in the Foothills fter meeting in the 8th grade, Danielle and Jeffrey A developed a love-hate relationship. They had nothing in common and they were completely opposite! Time has a way of changing people, so when Danielle and Jeffrey reconnected after graduating high school and began dating, family and friends were surprised to say the least. Danielle was all woman, and Jeffrey was all man and while the two were aware of the cliché that opposites attract, they also quickly realized that they were better together and brought out the best in one another. Six years later, after a night out at the San Francisco Ballet, Jeffrey nervously popped the question. As soon as the couple got engaged, Danielle began planning her fairytale wedding! They chose Ironstone Vineyards in Murphys, CA, a stunning winery in the California Gold Country and Sierra foothills for the wedding location. The groom particularly loved this part of California where he spent a majority of his career as Fire Captain for Cal Fire. Working around their busy schedules was difficult, but the couple worked well together and were able to make their dream wedding into a reality. Heavily influenced by soft and romantic colors and themes, Danielle was able to convey her vision to her event coordinator and left the big details in her capable hands. Different shades of blush, gold and champagne were to be gushing from her bouquet and centerpieces. She would need sparkles to make the event shine. As her event coordinator added the chandeliers to the already exquisite head table, Danielle knew that her wedding would be nothing short of magical; both beautiful and romantic.
68 M
After 18 months of planning, Danielle and Jeffrey were wed on June 25th, 2016 amongst family, friends, and loved ones. The bride stood side by side with her husband in a gorgeous Lazaro ball gown with a fabulous tulle skirt and beaded bodice, her smiling face beaming. Her bouquet of pale pink and ivory roses, hydrangeas, and peonies were elegant and feminine; complimenting and matching the bride’s beauty. Crystals were scattered throughout the ceremony to add a romantic and mystical glow to the whole affair. Keeping to theme, Danielle had placed her bridesmaids in neutral champagne while the groomsmen wore classic black tie tuxes. Their wedding day had been perfect; filled with cheers, laughter, tears, and a lot of dancing! The couple’s rings were beautiful bands from Ciccarelli Jewelers, and their decadent cake, a 3-layer pale pink, ivory and metallic gold draped with roses and wrapped in greenery was tasteful and delighted the bride and groom. Danielle had finally found her Prince Charming and they could begin their happily ever after.

Jessica and David fell in love exploring the
outdoors together and knew they wanted their wedding to represent that. They wanted to give their out of town guests a taste of the place they adore. While searching online for a destination venue in South Lake Tahoe, they stumbled about Valhalla. Built in 1924, this historic, beautifully detailed wood and stone hall included a wrap-around, lodge pole pine porch that was perfect for cocktails and their outdoor reception with gorgeous views of the lake. Scrolling through pictures, they immediately knew their ceremony would take place in the Grand Hall in front of the twenty foot tall stone fireplace. Jessica and David worked closely over email and phone with the on-site coordinator to plan most of the details and finally saw the venue for the first time a month and a half before their wedding. “We both wanted to stick with more of a traditional look and keep décor simple and classic so it would not take away from the scenery,” expressed Jessica, “We loved it!”

Victoria Popoff & Devin Hill Married October 4, 2016
and Devin first met when Vtheyictoria both worked at Brenda Athletic Club. Devin was a certified personal trainer, and Victoria was the group exercise director and Pilates instructor. With many mutual friends, their paths crossed on multiple occasions. Victoria describes their attraction as irresistible: “Our relationship is like a magnet, a force we had no choice over.” During their first date, they both knew it was different, and the topic of marriage didn’t scare either of them. Their love progressed quickly, and they announced their engagement just a few months after their first date.
The couple knew they wanted a romantic wedding and reception on the beach but also knew everyone they were inviting could not travel in such a short time frame, so they planned three separate wedding events. The first was a private ceremony and brunch on her parents’ property, which would include family only. “We wanted to give our guests undivided attention in each setting. At our family-only wedding, we wanted to be respectful of our parents’ conservative and religious backgrounds,” explained Victoria. “With under 30 guests, it made for a small, intimate day that gave us quality time
with each family member as we had hoped for.” Long wooden benches created the aisle Victoria’s father escorted her down. She carried a delicate bouquet of dried lavender which paired nicely with her soft off-the-shoulder Ruca Lace gown by Watters that she found at Mira Bridal Couture. In a navy blue Hugo Boss suit, Devin watched every step she took. Victoria’s adopted brother, Alex, carried a hand-built Lego ring holder with Princess Leah and Hans Solo figurines inspired by Devin’s love for Star Wars.

“Our dream was to be married on the beach, with our closest friends, so we planned our destination wedding and celebration with 28 of our closest friends a week after our family wedding,” said Victoria. Tucked between two scenic bluffs overlooking the Sea of Cortez, Victoria’s uncle escorted her down the stairs of the Esperanza Resort to the private beach where Devin stood. Victoria chose to keep her wedding-day look uncomplicated, unfussy, and incredibly effortless in a plunging back ivory crepe gown by Willowby Watters that she found at her long-time

friend Mira’s bridal salon in downtown Modesto. Reflecting the setting, Victoria wanted her hair timeless, so her hair stylist Noel created soft mermaid waves that draped around her shoulders and she carried an organic cascading bouquet of greenery and ivory roses. The couple wrote their own vows and the ceremony was officiated by Victoria’s childhood Australian pen-pal Lisa, who flew in just for the occasion. Instead of including bridesmaids and
groomsmen, the couple decided to ask their guests to dress in a neutral palette, which included ivory, beige, and gray. With the sunset and the ocean views establishing an atmosphere of earthly elegance, they decided to mirror this theme in their decor for the cliffside reception on the resort’s Seaside Terrace. A family-style rustic wooden table created a warm and intimate dinner. Personalized menus and monogrammed linens were just a few of the personal touches added to their decor. Amber & John Capua August 27, 2016
The stunning Santa Barbara Courthouse was exactly what
John and Amber were looking for as they searched for their wedding venue. With jaw dropping architecture that celebrates the Spanish heritage of the area, the Spanish-Moorish structure is one of the most beautiful in the U.S. The couple chose the steps of the Sunken Gardens to host their cozy, intimate, and personal ceremony. Amber and John, having been married previously, were perfectly content having a small and elegant wedding; the guests, their closest friends and family, and their children made up the wedding party. Amber took over the planning, including the challenges and difficulties that sometimes come with vendors being so far away. She wanted her theme of cozy elegance to really stand out and be the driving force in her wedding planning, so she chose a palette of soft pink, navy blue, and beige. Her two young daughters wore long flowing pale pink dresses; John’s sons wore navy blue to match him in his modern suit. They sported pink bowties

while the girls wore pale pink floral wreaths in their hair and carried small bouquets of babies’ breath. On that special day in August, surrounded by the ones that loved and cared for them the most, John and Amber tied the knot. She stood, dazzling in her Lazaro gown and cathedral length veil, a romantic timeless classic. Their ceremony was seamless, the day calm, and their love strong.

Buttons from the top of the neckline to the end of the extended illusion train gave the elegant garment an added touch. Katie & Kevin Reed
Married October 8, 2016
Katie and Kevin Reed decided to get
married in Katie’s favorite season, fall. Using the mellow atmosphere and rich colors of fall, Katie’s wedding colors of navy blue, and charcoal gray were accented with mustard yellow, raspberry, and emerald green. The fullness of the season perfectly complemented their ceremony. Armed with the Bridal Couture Magazine, Katie was able to plan her wedding, making it as unique as possible. Katie crafted roses made out of book pages to add to the groomsmen’s bou-

tonnières and to the bridesmaid’s bouquets and strung garlands made from leaves hand cut out of book pages. Their wedding favors, signature tea blends from Cup and Kettle in Leavenworth, WA, were exactly what the couple wanted. The last detail that Katie and Kevin insisted upon was the ring bearers carrying not rings, but a family Bible, which belonged to members of the family that had passed on. This touch was meaningful not only the couple, but the families as well. On October 8th, 2016, Katie and Kevin

Reed said their “I Do’s” amidst the lovely fall foliage. Their wedding, traditional yet unique, was held at the Redeemer Church in Livingston, California. Katie wore a simple elegant ivory lace sheath gown by Maggie Sottero, with cap sleeves and a fingertip veil. The men looked dapper in charcoal gray suits and royal blue button ups with brown suspenders. Katie and Kevin were overjoyed to see their ideas come together so perfectly. Now that Katie and Kevin have become man and wife, they will relish many fall days together, curled up with a good book and a cup of tea.

Breanna & Tim Newcomb Married July 3, 2016

lirty and fun and deliberately carefree, the wedding between Breanna and Tim is definitely one to remember! Cheers to the fabulous wedding vendors that breathed life into this urban chic celebration of love – “especially the girls at Witty Rentals,” said Breanna. Vibrant blooms and greenery were placed everywhere, and the gold and silver door connecting two spaces served as the backdrop where these lovebirds would marry. And while the bridesmaids wore white, mismatched gowns, the groomsmen dressed in sleek navy suits. “I almost exclusively used small local boutique business for all my vendors, and it turned out amazing.” Keeping on budget was important to the couple, so they included many DIY items, like the favors made of Succulents and Tillandsias, the table centerpieces created from gold pots they found at Anthropologie filled with succulents, xerographicas, and confetti dots, and the tee pee they built for the kids to play in. Breanna and Tim involved close friends in their wedding planning and the day-of events, relying on them for their photographer and band. Longtime friends Kori and Jared photographed their wedding, and Michael Sanchez, who was recently on Season 11 of The Voice, performed for their ceremony and reception. “I wanted a non-traditional urban wedding where guests could easily mix and mingle, dance, eat, drink (a lot) and have fun,” explained Breanna. “To top it all off —every single one of my guests raved about the food from Harvest Kitchen.”

COURTNEY & SAM CULLOM Married June 4, 2016
For Sam and Courtney, who had been best
friends and high school sweethearts, their love story was something almost expected. The couple knew that they were destined for one another while growing up together, so after pizza and ice cream one night, Sam and Courtney made it official and began dating. At her grandmother’s annual Christmas party, Sam surprised Courtney with a proposal–one that her family had hidden from her for an entire month! She happily accepted. Courtney and Sam were not your typical couple. While some couples went to the movies on date night, Courtney and Sam raced motorcycles together and were elated to find that it was just one more thing to add to the list of what they had in common. Sam had actually lured Courtney into racing, and she found herself hooked. They were even on the same team together: Pro 6 Racing. Wanting their wedding day to reflect their relationship, Courtney and Sam kept their theme unique and personal. Courtney picked simple colors of blue and white for the wedding, blue being both the bride and groom’s favorite color. Courtney put her own stamp of uniqueness on their wedding by incorporating their love of motorcycles into the ceremony. The groom’s cake was designed as a motorcycle tire splattering mud onto the couple’s wedding cake: a fun and delicious reminder of the two lovebirds. Courtney also chose to use two helmets, one black and one white, in place of the usual guest book. The couple carefully chose childhood pictures to place on the reception tables and around the venue that showed them on their journey toward meeting each other and falling in love. Their wedding favors, sweet and simple, were little silver heart shaped cookies with their name and wedding date frosted onto them, a treat the guests would savor forever. Courtney created an amazing playlist for the big day and was pleased to hear her DJ play every song. The challenges faced, like keeping track of who RSVP’d and making sure the bridal party was fitted prior to the ceremony, were minor and forgettable. Courtney was filled with joy at finally becoming Mrs. Sam Cullom.

Jenelle & Steven Gentry Married August 20, 2016
After a year of dating, Steven
surprised Jenelle on Valentine’s Day with a wine tasting trip to Ironstone Vineyards in Murphys, California. It was there that the couple expressed their love for the property and imagined what a perfect location this would be for a wedding. A year and a half later, surrounded by friends and family, the couple said “I do” in that very place. The planning had begun after Steven proposed to Jenelle on December 25, 2015. The couple booked the lush Princess Bride lawn for the ceremony and the expansive Music room for their reception. Jenelle found the perfect dreamy ballerina-inspired ball gown with a delicate beaded and Swarovski Crystal bodice and flowing soft tulle skirt by Watters. She paired that with a cathedral veil she found through Hannah Hicks on Etsy and Bordeaux chiffon and lace dresses for her bridesmaids. On August 20, 2016, the bride carried a dreamy clutch of dusty miller, brunia, and ivory peonies down the aisle and married the love of her life. “We are still pinching ourselves over finding one another, the collaboration of our families, the dreams we have that match each other before and now together,” explained Jenelle. The couple honeymooned in Playa Del Carmen and has now settled in a custom home they built while planning their wedding.
