IMPORTANCE OF THE NECKLINES
Neckline is one of the most distinguishing features of clothing and very important factor to look great in any dress. It is important that you look for the right styles of necklines that will not only emphasize your best assets but will also hide your problem areas.
Scoop - Neckline
Scoop-neck is a deep U-shape neckline. It is characterized by a large width and a full curve that dips down the chest. It balances all body flaws and gives an illusion of a good proportion. Flattering: Those with a short neck or long face. Unflattering: Skinny or your face is narrow.
Sweetheart - Neckline
This romantic strapless sweetheart design features two curves over the bustline, which drop and meet at a point in the middle of the bust area. The result is a heart-shaped neckline that helps to provide modest coverage for the bust. Flattering: Suits women of all shape, size and body-type, ideal for women with both, small or large size.
Remember that all necklines may not look good on all dress form and on all body types. Balance is the keyword in deciding the neckline of your dress.
Bateau/Boat Neckline and Off-The-Shoulder
Bateau is French for "boat," thus it is also commonly known as the "Boat Neck". The Boat neck is marked by the horizontal line that closely follows the collarbone and helps enhance narrow shoulders by creating a widening effect. Flattering: For those with small bust-size and longer necks. Unflattering: For those with broad shoulders, short neck or a big bust.

Choosing the best reception venue
10 questions to ask
Besides your dress, The Venue is the second most important element of your special day. It is natural that every Bride & Quinceañera wants a magical, romantic venue that combines all the charm and elegance you would want it to be perfect. However, too often they fall in love with the beauty of the place they might fail to ask the right questions. Before you begin searching, be sure to read the following list of important questions to consider when speaking with potential venues to avoid unpleasant surprises.
Remember, this is your Special Day! 1
Decide on a budget:
Decide how much money you want to allocate to your special day, the average spend for a reception venue is 37% to 51 % of the budget (venue, catering and rentals). Catering and alcohol normally takes up a large chunk of the budget. There are plenty of ways you can add pretty and personal touches to your Wedding or Quinceañera without breaking the bank.
2 Make a list:
Find your top 3 locations and visit theme, ask permission if you can take pictures to remember the venue, make notes at each venue so you don’t mix or forget important information. Once you’ve visited your short listed venues and have a pretty clear idea which one it will be the one, schedule a second visit.
How many people does your 3 venue accommodate?
Either seating or standing, have a rough idea of how many guests are attending, guests need to have plenty of space for dancing and mingling during the course of the party, be sure to consider how many cars can be park. Do you need to hire a parking attendant?
4 Do you have my date available?
The more flexibility you have in this area, the better. If not, what days are available during the month you would like your Wedding or Quinceañera to take place? If an exact date is really important, start shopping early!
Will other events be taking place 5 on the same day?
If other parties are schedule for the same day, you might feel like you’re been rushed out if the venue needs the space for another reception taking place on the same day. The Wedding or Quinceañera party and family should have exclusive use of the entire venue.?
6 Do you offer packages?

7 What amenities are provided?
10 What are the contract terms?
Packages can be both cost-effective and convenient but don’t assume everything is included. Are the tables, chairs, linens, china, silverware included at no additional charge? Some venues offer basic packages that use disposable flatware. Do I have a choice of color or style of linens and chairs? What is the set-up/break-down fee? Some sites may offer low rent fee, but charge for the set-up/break-down. How many hours will the reception be? Is there a minimum spend?
Some important extras to consider; is there a changing room for the Bride or Quinceañera party? If so, how early will you have access to the room? Is there a venue coordinator? - The venue coordinator is working on behalf of the venue to make sure everything goes to plan. Is there a dance floor? Are there enough restrooms? Is there a coat room? (especially for winter season)Is there air conditioning or heating? Is the venue suitable for guest with a disability. It can be easy to get swept up in a breathtaking venue without considering all.
Can I use my own vendors or do 8 I have to use your vendors?
Sometimes a venue will be able to provide you with a list of recommended suppliers that you could use. These companies should be your most trusted experts to do an amazing job. It’s very important that you are comfortable with all your vendors and feel like he or she understands your vision. If you have a special vendor that isn’t on the list, check that if you are able to use them before signing the contract.
Some of the venues locations do have noise ordinance that requires the music be turned down by 11 pm. Make sure this is a question you get answered prior to booking. (Noise ordinance is a local law that regulates the amount, duration and type of noise allowed in an area) Are live bands and DJ permitted and will I need a permit? Candles, confetti, fireworks are they allowed? Are there restrictions for the photographer? Can I bring my own decorations?
Review all details of the venue’s cancellation and refund policy; some venues will refund most of your deposit after certain date, what are the payments terms? Before booking find out how the venue will require you to make payment; Does the venue have insurance? Details of any insurances or licenses the venue is obliged to hold such as public liability in case someone gets injured during the party, you don’t want to be held responsible – license to serve alcohol. If your venue does not require insurance for liability or alcohol, I recommend looking into whether you can purchase it for yourself.
Planning a Wedding or Quinceañera takes a lot of time and patience, with hundreds of questions and decisions to be made. Keep these questions in hand when the time comes to start looking for the beautiful and perfect venue for your reception.

Las Vegas Marriage License Requirements: Requirements for U.S. citizens and non U.S. citizens are the same. To obtain your marriage license, both parties must appear in person before a Clerk at a Clark County Marriage Bureau location. PLEASE NOTE: On October 9, 2014 an injunction was filed in U.S. District Court in Nevada requiring the state to issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples. It also requires Nevada to recognize same-sex marriages performed in other states. No blood test is required. In the State of Nevada, marriage records are public documents. All U.S. citizens are required to provide their Social Security number on the Affidavit of Application for a Marriage License. You do not need to present your Social Security card. Those applicants not issued a Social Security number by the United States will enter “none” in the appropriate box. For non U.S. citizens, some foreign countries require a copy of the marriage license and/or an apostille to register a marriage. It is suggested that non U.S. citizens check with their local officials for special documents needed to ensure their marriage is recognized in their country.
Waiting Period-expiration of License: A marriage license is issued the same day a couple applies. There is no waiting period to get married after the marriage license has been issued. Marriage licenses are good for one year from date of issue.
Age: At least 18 years of age. Minor Applicants (Age 16 or 17) Minor applicants must have consent of a parent or legal guardian. Minors will need an original or certified copy of the birth certificate which lists the name of the consenting parent (no photocopies will be accepted).
Fees: The fee for a Marriage License is $60.00 (subject to change payable by cash, credit card, traveler’s check or money order. A service fee of $5.15 is added when using a credit card to pay for a marriage license. Debit cards are not accepted unless they are a combination credit/debit card.
Divorced Or Widowed: Divorced applicants are required to list the Month/Day/Year when their divorce was finalized and the city and state where the divorce was finalized. We do not need to see a copy of the divorce decree. Widowed applicants are required to list the Month/Day/Year they were widowed and the city and state. We do not need to see a copy of the death certificate.
Marriage Ceremonies: The minister, religious official, or Nevada Notary Public performing the marriage ceremony MUST possess a Certificate of Authority to Solemnize Marriages issued by a County Clerk from the State of Nevada. An out of state minister or religious official may obtain permission to perform a single marriage ceremony in the State of Nevada. Whoever performs your marriage ceremony has, by law, ten (10) days to submit documentation to the Clark County Recorder's Office for your marriage to be recorded. Once recorded, you can order a certified marriage certificate online from the Recorder's Office website.
