Bridge International Academies

Bridge International Academies is a community school network that focuses on providing educational services in impoverished communities. Bridge International Academies’ mission is to serve underprivileged communities, with the long-term goal of ending extreme poverty through education. Bridge International Academies community school network is a member of the Global Schools Forum; the UN Global Compact; Women’s Empowerment Principles; the Million Lives Club; and Business Fights Poverty, its parent organisation has also forged partnerships with governments in Edo, Borno and Lagos States, as well as in Liberia and China. In 2009, Bridge International Academies opened its first community school, and in 2020 it is part of a network of programmes run by its parent company that reaches the million children a year mark (through a wide portfolio of education programmes including its own community schools).
