By providing college-preparatory academics, a supportive residential life experience, and NCAA-level athletic development, Bridgton Academy helps our students build the confidence and responsible independence necessary for thriving in both their collegiate journey and future life endeavors.

A Lasting Impact

“This was the best year of my life. I was able to discover myself as a person. I learned how to structure my life, push myself, and understand my emotions. Bridgton Academy isn’t just a school, it’s a mentality.” - Student

“If not for Bridgton I would’ve been far less prepared for college academics and athletics. If you want to have a leg up on the first day of college, consider Bridgton; it made the difference for me!” - Alumnus

“My son has grown as a person, a student, and an athlete. The morals that have been instilled in these boys from the coaches to the staff have been truly life-altering. Being all together in Maine is the perfect opportunity for them to get to know each other and form a bond that I know in my heart will be present for many years to come.” - Parent

College Counseling

The college search process is a major component of our postgraduate year. College counselors, coaches, and faculty work in partnership with each student to guide them through the process. Our college list has a wide array of institutions represented, ranging from highly selective universities to technical programs. College choices are informed by deep relationships and an understanding of every student’s unique talents and aspirations.

Academics

We provide a broad curriculum in liberal arts and humanities, ranging from English to Music Production. Our Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) program is second to none, allowing students to discover real-world applications. We teach 21st-century skills including adaptability, time management, critical thinking, collaboration, communication, initiative, and self-advocacy. In partnership with several colleges, Bridgton offers transferable college credit courses.
