WelcomeContentstoour autumn season of new events, returning favourites, and festive fun Our multi line-up comedy night, Live at Brighton Dome, is back to cheer spirits with headliner James Acaster (p12), plus the return of much loved and admired all-male comedy ballet company from New York ‘The Trocks’ (p9). This Christmas don’t miss FIQ! from Moroccan circus troupe Groupe Acrobatique de Tanger, featuring acrobats, a DJ and a colourful visual world (p24) as we round off the year with a selection of festive favourites (p23) with something for everyone including a live screening of The Snowman (p23). We are excited to be in the finishing stages of the major refurbishment to our Grade I and Grade II listed Corn Exchange and Studio Theatre. Alongside these beautifully restored venues will be brand-new foyer spaces with heritage stories, a creative space for artists and a restaurant for everyone to enjoy. Bringing the Moroccan acrobatic tradition to the modern stage, Groupe Acrobatique de Tanger bring their phenomenal acrobatic energy to the Brighton Dome stage for our Christmas season with FIQ!, a luminous, tender and playful ode to the young people of Morocco that is a celebration of light and colour. Corn Exchange & Studio Theatre Refurbishment Update 30

We are now in the finishing stages of major works to refurbish the Grade I and Grade II listed Corn Exchange and Studio Theatre and are excited at the prospect of unveiling our new spaces. Bringing these magnificent buildings back to life is a huge milestone for us, but also for the wider city and for you, our Alongsideaudiences.thebeautifully restored Corn Exchange and Studio Theatre, there will be two new public bar spaces offering an exclusive view into the venue as work takes place inside. The new creative space provides a muchneeded home for diverse artists to explore, collaborate and create, with opportunities for audiences to find out more about what’s involved in the process of making new work. Plus, there’s a new all-day restaurant to enjoy a meal or drinks before the show. Our performers can expect new backstage facilities and state-of-theart production technology, including the latest audio technology, delivering crystal-clear sound. Creating inclusive venues has been a top priority and as well as improvements to accessibility in public areas, there are some crucial improvements backstage which means it’s much easier for Deaf, Disabled and Visually Impaired/Blind performers to take their place on the stages. Plans for what happens inside the venues are also taking shape and we continue to consult with local artists, communities and our audiences to find out what they want to see in the spaces and how they want to use them to create their own work. Whether you want to see your favourite artist or upcoming new talent, relax over a drink or bite to eat, hire spaces for private events, or develop new artistic work - these venues are for everyone. Our funding partners and donors have been vital to the success of this redevelopment and their support is hugely appreciated. We welcome donations and there are still many ways to get involved.
