Design with a great deal of patience. It is is a journey, an awareness-raising mission that, at the same time, offers uncompromising style and wildness as well as sensuality and passion.
Clothing is our
SECOND SKIN.
Bags are our movable storage. Our style is as raw and primal as life itself.
Our biggest obsession is taking a piece of fabric or other material and transforming it into a scultpure that holds on to us wherever we go.
We adore exploring its potential and its character and invite it to become not a tool, but our pathway, and your special piece.
We will not offer collections. We create editions when inspiration is strong and deep enough.
Our creations carry a FLUIDITY of usage. Forms and materials offer a multitude of styles transcending seasons, moods and occasions.
Combine pieces and materials, create layers, play with ways of wearing them, turn them around, upside down and always dry and store them rolled in a cocoon or bound as tightly as possible to keep their wild organic sculptured and structured form. This is the attitude and the mood of our editions and creation.
Things I Miss is a vision, a philosophy and a concept. It is an attitude. Consciousness. It is more than just a dress or a bag. It is something that springs from within, from the essence of our creative process. It is the love towards creating, feeling and living with the materials. We believe that fabric is our second skin, and forms and shapes co-exist with the human body. Each body gives our creations a different shape. Each movement provides them with oxygen. The coexistence of body and clothing is an exciting story.
An inspiration. We believe in careful treatment of fabric throughout the creative process. We believe in the sanctity of the creative space and in the love that goes into creating every special piece. Things I Miss is a sincere advocate of a circular design, multi-usefulness, modular, zero-waste, less-is-more, up-cycling and layering concept, natural, organic and certified fabric, innovative and Earth-friendly materials and the organic creation process and poetry that emphasizes both the creation as a whole but also its details.
