he COVID-19 pandemic has enforced change in practically every facet of our daily lives and it’s fair to say the work environment as we once knew it has changed for good.
Working from home has very much become the norm for many around the world in the last two years as office spaces gather dust and the work-home balance is elevated to an altogether different level. Working from home, or remote work, works for some (pardon the pun!) but not for others, which is completely
understandable. Some enjoy the flexibility that remote work offers, being able to work around their own schedule and spend more time with family. Others complain of cabin fever, of struggling to disassociate the work and home dynamics and of missing the social aspect of an office environment. As we enter into the third year of the pandemic in 2022, many companies are offering their employees the choice, where available and applicable, as part of a hybrid dynamic where workers spend a couple of days at the office and a couple of days at home.
