Recorded after dark by Brad Collins and Josh Thompson, in local record shop Dark Alley Collectables, providing the perfect backdrop to feature local and national acoustic music performances.

This month, we have EMIR playing three original tracks and a deep cutting version of Amy Winehouse’s “Back To Black”. Sit back and let the delicate guitar lure you in, while EMIR’s vocals cast that soulful spell on your inevitably grooving body.

ABOUT EMIR

EMIR casts a soulful spell in her live performance. She is fast becoming known for her deep, expressive vocals with an undeniable sonic fierceness, that when matched with her melancholy, brings tapping foot and aching heart together.

Singer-Songwriter, EMIR is an independent artist residing on the Mid North Coast. She uses music to illustrate her world through her unique lyrics and sound. Her music infuses rich R’n’B vocals coupled with intricate Jazz melodies that tell stories of life, loss and love.

Playing as a solo artist as well as with her trio band, EMIR’s performances highlight her powerful vocals and cutting song writing style. She is currently working on her next music project, her first solo EP, that is set to be released next year. Being a part of multiple line ups, her latest stage appearances include supporting the master blues guitarist, Kevin Borich and upcoming shows seeing her support the powerhouse duo Hussy Hicks, at the Wauchope Arts Hall on Friday, 25th June 2021.
