Family Name: Number of People:
Campfire-Inspired Food! Trail Mix
Oven S’mores
Pick your mix: nuts, popcorn, M&Ms, Chocolate Chips, Dried Fruit, Shredded Coconut, granola...
1. Preheat your oven to broil 2. On a sheet pan add your graham cracker halves (leave about an inch of space between as the marshmallows will expand) top with a square of chocolate 3. Top the graham crackers with a marshmallow 4. Place on a rack 5-6 inches below the top of the oven 5. Watch for 20-30 seconds and wait for your marshmallow to expand 6. Remove from oven and add additional graham cracker to make a sandwich with the marshmallow!
Pancakes 3 ½ teaspoons baking powder 1 teaspoon salt
Makes 8 servings! 1 tablespoon white sugar 1 ¼ cups milk 1 egg 3 tablespoons butter, melted
1. In a large bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Make a well in the center and pour in the milk, egg and melted butter; mix until smooth.
Combine your ingredients in a large bowl and store in a ziploc bag or mason jar!
Spider Hotdogs 1. Slice a regular hot dog four ways on one side (like a criss-cross) Repeat on the other end. Be careful not to cut through the middle! 2. If you plan to roast your Spider Dog over a campfire, insert a long roasting stick through the middle 3. If you are boiling your Spider Dog, place in boiling water and cook as directed on the package. As the hot dog cooks, the cut ends curl up, making it look as though the hot dog has 8 legs, just like a spider!
2. Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium-high heat. Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle/frying pan, using approximately 1/4 cup for each pancake. Brown on both sides and serve hot!
Walking Tacos You will need at least one bag of single serve Doritos for each person! 1. Prepare your taco meat or meat substitute - add taco seasoning mix or 1/4 cup of salsa! 2. Prepare taco toppings (shredded cheese, lettuce, onion, tomato, sour cream, salsa, peppers, avocado...) 3. Each person will crush their bag of chips 4. Cut open the bag down the side 5. Spoon the taco meat inside and then top with your favourite taco toppings! 6. Stir with a spoon or eat straight from the bag!

Camp Charades! What You Need: - Camp Charade Cards (see next 3 pages) - Jar or bucket to place the Charade Cards in - Timer
How To Play: 1. Cut out the Camp Charade cards. On the blank ones, come up with your own actions or objects! 2. Put the charade cards in a bucket or jar. 3. Divide into two teams with equal players. 4. The youngest player on the team goes first. The player chooses a Camp Charade card from the bucket/jar and acts out what is written on the card (remember – actions are allowed when you charade, but no words or sounds!) A timer is set for 2 minutes once the Camp Charade card is read. 5. Start guessing! If your team guesses the correct action before the timer runs out, you are awarded a point. Keep track of your points by keeping the Camp Charade cards you guessed correctly. 6. Alternate from team-to-team until all the Charade cards are completed. The team with the most points (cards) wins!
