Zaha Hadid was nicknamed the ‘Queen of The Curve’ for her elegant and curvaceous designs, as she used curves to push the boundaries of spatial configuration. In addition, she also wanted to make contemporary works that reinterpreted traditional and nonhierarchical spaces seen in Islamic architecture for modern times (Artnet News, 2018).
