BUUFFIE’S PROEFLOKAAL Pubblik (interior design) Philip Jintes (photography)
In this charming property, with a nod to the former grocery store, you’ll be surprised by the nostalgic atmosphere and culinary delights. Decanters and beautiful clay fixtures give this tasting room a hint of glamour.

COUNTRY HOUSE Hans Gerritsen (photography)
This interior is one of peace, luxury and honest materials. This project had some challenges in store for us; the residents were traveling during the renovation so it was necessary to measure and discuss everything in advance. The house has two eye catchers; the hand shaped porcelain biscuit ‘envelopes’ pendant lighting and the shower enclosure with LED lights behind a beautiful picture. The pendant lighting is especially spectacular at night because it is visible from outside. The light is very delicate and playful and highlights the beautiful architecture. During the day the light in this house is beautifully filtered by lush greenery, and at night the spotlights give accent lighting whilst wall lamps create peace and unity.

RABOBANK Creops (interior design) Hans Gerritsen (photography)
Rabobank asked us to help create a public area where everybody feels welcome. We placed basic lighting above all important locations such as the working areas, but less above the walking areas. It’s all very well illuminated but the important areas just a bit more. Your eye tends to look first at what is illuminated most. By adding extra decorative lighting above the most essential locations they become even more recognizable. Subtle accents give this bank just that little bit more look and feel compared to the standard office solutions. What you want is that when clients enter, they get a feeling of clarity and atomically understand where they have to be.

ERASMUS UNIVERSITY CAMPUS Erick Van Egeraat Architects (interior design) Ossip van Duivenbode (photography)
Erasmus University Campus is situated in the former National School museum in the heart of Rotterdam. The building dates from 1923 and survived the bombardments in 1940. Under the direction of Erick van Egeraat Architects the building got a new lease of life and it now exudes luxury and tranquility.

WALTER’S HR Pubblik (interior design) Philip Jintes (photography)
Walter Bentley Woodbury was an English pioneer and innovator of photography in the mid-19th century. In 1851, at the age of 17, he made a trip to Melbourne, Australia. Six years later he travelled to Batavia in the Dutch East Indies. The interior and ambience of this trendy cafe/restaurant harks back to that time and adventure. The online reviews about the interiors are very positive.

WEWORK COWORKING OFFICE SPACE Hans Gerritsen (photography)
The interior architect had a strong desire for wooden linear pendant fixtures. We designed our own model using basic OSB (Oriented Strand Board). The result turned out great: a custom design with a wooden exterior and within budget. The design was such a success that we created wall fixtures in the same style as well. We used a variety of decorative lighting. All the spaces got their own identity and thus creating different atmospheres, maintaining the desired welcoming and homey atmosphere. The total design is one that fits perfectly in the global WeWork style.

MEATBALLS TANK.nl (interior design) Teo Krijgsman (photography)
For Meatballs we have chosen sustainable and honest materials. The lighting is entirely executed in LED and the materials are glass and aluminum. The atmosphere that is created has the feel of a cozy living room. The open kitchen contributes to that relaxed vibe. This restaurant is a tribute to the meatball, good food and good cooks.

STYLE HOUSE Hans Gerritsen (photography)
This wonderful country house was devised with lots of love for its surroundings and scenery. On the one hand it is super modern and equipped with every convenience. On the other hand it seems like the house has existed for centuries. A lot of attention was given to the subtle illumination of the numerous works of art.

JOELIA Puurplus (interior design) Scala Photography (photography)
The first impression of Joelia, a brand new restaurant in Rotterdam’s Hilton Hotel, is one of harmony. Light and darkness are intertwined in a subtle manner. Each table is individually lit, making it the center of attention by creating islands of focus. Architectural elements such as pillars, walls and ceilings were cleverly incorporated in the lighting design, making them soft and playful. The interior design was created in corporation with PuurPlus Architects. The natural materials used, such as wood, grass and fabrics come to life using a wide range of LED lighting fixtures. We are proud of this eco friendly restaurant, which offers sensational food in sensational lighting. The interior is totally in sync with the food that is served here.

DAVID LEWIS PRODUCTIONS TANK.nl (interior design) Teo Krijgsman (photography)
The concept consists of a lot of dark colors and high contrasts; therefore the right lighting is crucial. Placing light above the metal ceiling grid created a very interesting image. This way we got the right atmosphere in the right places. Along the wall, the lighting has more contrast. Above the table the light is softer and more evenly spread. This project was very interesting and challenging. We are proud that the superstar DJ’s of this agency like the result as well.

CREAM INTERNET
For the new Cream Internet headquarters we designed a customized light line that follows the oblique wall in the office. The pendant lighting extends into the meeting room where the same types of fixtures are installed. Referring to the company name, milk bottles are use to illuminate the pantry in style.

Together with the interior designer we made a lighting plan for this warm and sunny interior with bright yellow accents. Doctors Inc. clinic specializes in cosmetic procedures that can bring out the natural beauty of people through minimal interventions. The interior fits these key words; minimalistic and beautiful. One of the eye catchers is a semi-recessed and slightly tilted large round luminaire. The solid crystal glass pendants over the counter give a nice sparkle to the tidy and natural interior.

LAUXTERMANN LAWYERS Legal by legal Matthijs Tukker (interior design)
In this project together with interior architect Matthijs Tukker we decided to use sleek light lines in the offices, creating good and even lighting and a clean look at the same time. The hallways got track lighting with narrow beam track spots. A total different ambience compared to the offices creating two distinct atmospheres for two very different areas. The result is very attractive. You first enter a warm and accentuated area. When entering an office the lighting becomes more functional, but still adding character to the room. The simplicity of the light lines adds to the clarity that was desired. The color contrast (white ceiling, black fixtures) gives it that ‘bite’ and character.

SOUTH OF HOUSTON Pubblik (interior design) Philip Jintes (photography)
South of Houston is named after the famous SoHo district in New York. SoHo is still known as a trendy district, which is a trendsetter in the field of fashion and architecture. The atmosphere and ambiance are well captured in the interior of the South of Houston restaurant.

ANCKERSWAERDT ESTATE TANK.nl (interior design) Hans Gerritsen (photography)
This estate required a complex renovation. The structure is illuminated in such a way that it accentuates the wood and size of the construction. The ground floor is multifunctional and needed even lighting. By clustering spots and placing them playfully in one direction in the ceiling we created a non standard pattern with perfect even illumination. Using the many beams to camouflage the light sources, all the attention goes to the building. The setup of the building is less complex now. We placed several light lines on long pendants above the meeting table. You get the effect of an artificial lowered ceiling but maintaining all visibility.

ALBERT HEIJN SUPERMARKET Hans Gerritsen (photography)
For Albert Heijn Supermarket, we have created a design that makes the entrance very inviting. Luckily we could deviate from the beaten path. Round hanging fixtures with a diameter of 125 cm are applied in the high front section. In the lower rear section the same fixtures are ingeniously recessed in the ceiling tot get a visually strong connection. Substantial uplighters on the wall provide magnificent indirect light through the ceiling. Not shown on the photos are some LED lines and recessed spotlights that are extra appealing when it’s dark outside.
