LAMAR JOINS THE BULLETS The Brisbane Bullets have confirmed 27-year-old, 6’5” swingman Lamar Patterson to join the roster following the departure of Alonzo Gee. Patterson had a stand out college career with Pittsburgh, before being selected by the Milwaukee Bucks as the 48th pick in the 2014 NBA draft – one place before his new Bullets team mate Cameron Bairstow was picked in the same draft. Patterson was traded to the Atlanta Hawks and spent his first professional season in Turkey. Patterson made his NBA debut for the Hawks in the 2015 season

and played a total of 40 NBA games over the 2015-16 and 201617 seasons, while also standing out in the NBA G League. Patterson played the 201718 European season in Italy, including averaging 16 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists per game in the Eurocup competition. Patterson joins the Bullets fresh from a Chinese NBL season where he averaged 45 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists per game. Bullets General Manager Richard Clarke is happy to have Patterson added to the squad, having previously been a

recruitment target for the club. “Lamar is a player that has been on our radar for the past two seasons and has been till now out of our reach. The timing worked in terms of his availability and our opportunity and we are looking forward to what he is going to be able to bring to the team.” The Bullets will face the Adelaide 36ers for the first time this season on Thursday 1st November, tipoff at 6.50pm, the same day Patterson arrives in Brisbane. The Club hopes to have him cleared to play against Adelaide on Sunday November 4.
