Join Santa and celebrate the festive season with twilight markets and food trucks, family-friendly entertainment including everyone’s favourite carols, a spectacular fireworks display and the brand new Santa’s walk-through experience.

SELFIE SANTA 3 – 24 December (Thursday – Sunday only) @ David Jones Queen Plaza

Flag down Santa as he wanders around taking selfies and offering special inside information on how he travels around the world in one night, while he practises social distancing with a special photo prop to ensure the health and well-being of everyone he meets.

JINGLE ALL THE BAY 4 December @ Brighton Road, Sandgate

Soak up the festive atmosphere while wandering through a street party with markets, food stalls, live entertainment, kids’ rides and workshops, as well as Santa photo opportunities after he appears as the guest of honour in the Christmas street parade.

SANTA ON TOUR 4 – 6 & 11 – 13 December @ Various Ipswich Suburbs

See Santa arrive by bus as he and his helpers take Christmas to the suburbs to help spread Christmas cheer to local families, with performers and characters popping up around Ipswich suburbs and landmarks throughout December.

THE LORD MAYOR’S CHRISTMAS CAROLS 5 December @ Riverstage

Showcasing some of Australia’s biggest and brightest talent and where Santa appears every year, head to the annual Lord Mayor’s Christmas Carols for everyone’s favourite Christmas songs and carols in this magical celebration of Christmas.

CHRISTMAS CARNIVAL 19 December @ Sandstone Point Hotel

Experience an Aussie-style festive celebration with a day on the waterfront, followed by a not-so-silent night singing your favourite Christmas jams and enjoying markets, food stalls, kids’ rides, live music, entertainment, fireworks and Santa.

SANTA VISITS THE FARM 5 – 20 December (Saturday & Sunday only) @ The Granite Belt Christmas Farm

Embrace the magic of Christmas and visit Mrs Claus’ Kitchen, feed Santa’s animals, buy a real Christmas tree and meet the man in red as he visits the farm every weekend in December to take socially-distanced photos and spread Christmas cheer.

CHRISTMAS IN THE PADDOCK 19 December @ German Church Road, Redland Bay

Bring your camp chairs or picnic blanket and settle in for a family-friendly arvo in the paddock, with Christmas carols, awesome food trucks, festive face painting, a jumping castle and, of course, a visit from the man in red — Santa Claus!
