7S TOURNAMENT

Welcome

Welcome Message from the Headmaster

It is with great pleasure that I welcome you all to the first Bristol Grammar School Netball and Rugby 7's Tournament. Weʼre delighted to be hosting this inaugural event at our Failand sports pavilion and hope that youʼll all enjoy todayʼs matches - a thank you too, to our sponsors whose support has made today possible.

It promises to be fantastic showcase of all that BGS celebrates about sport; collaboration, team work, camaraderie and a healthy dose of competition. I look forward to seeing the enthusiasm and commitment from all the teams taking part .

Thank you to all staff from all schools who have made today possible, and Iʼd like to pay particular tribute to our own BGS staff whoʼve put so much effort into both conceiving this event, and doing such an amazing job at creating all that we see here today.

Best of luck to all of the teams taking part. I am sure that – in victory or defeat – they will exemplify our BGS Sport values of teamwork, respect, kindness, integrity and rigour.
