ABOUT ME
Natasha Watson is a 2D Digital Animator
specialising in pre-production design; namely Character
Design,
Concept
Design
and
Storyboarding.
Having come from a predominantly Fine Art background, the traditional methods take a strong influence in her work. Natasha graduated from a Foundation Degree in Animation Arts at
Plymouth College of Art in 2013 and has now completed her BA Hons Degree in Animation at the University of West England. She now works as a freelance Animator and Illustrator.

A Load of Pollocks
2D Flash Animation 1:09 minutes 2013 Natasha Watson - animator, co-writer, editor, codesigner. Lily Joyce - co-writer, co-designer, background and colour artist. Caitlyn Kurz - co-writer, music and sound editor. This was a group film where we had to come up with a light hearted, one minute animation. It centres on a frustrated fisherman and his dog who go through each season without a single catch. However when spring comes a long he gets a nice surprise.

ILLUSTRATION
I have always been an avid drawer, whether it is in my academic work or in my spare time.
I work in digital format on Adobe Photoshop but will always have a soft spot for traditional drawing methods.

ICEMAN OMM
For my final project of my BA Hons Degree in Animation I decided to do a short animated film. My film is called Iceman Omm. The story revolves around an 11 year old boy called Cal, who embarks on an adventure. He is lost and cold and stumbles across an icecave. Inside this cave is a 5,000 year old frozen caveman, named Omm. One night by a campfire, Omm begins to thaw and the next morning Cal gets the shock of his life!
