THE P50 RANGE
BRITANNIA FIRE
THE P50 Breaking the Mould
Britannia Fire has chosen to provide three types of P50 extinguisher. Foam with a fire rating of 27A / 183B, ABC powder with a fire rating of 34A / 183B and Super BC powder with a fire rating of 233B. The high ratings achieved gives better fire cover than many larger extinguishers.

10 year guarantee No costly servicing No corrosion No split linings
6LTR FOAM
No danger of personal injury due to corrosion
The P50F 6ltr Foam fire extinguisher has fire fighting capabilities that make it effective on Class A materials, wood, paper and textiles and class B fires fuelled by paints, solvents and oils. The unit has also passed the EN3 safety requirements for accidental use on live electrical equipment. With the addition of antifreeze the foam has an improved operational temperature range from +60˚c to -10˚c.

BRITANNIA FIRE
THE P50 COMPOSITE EXTINGUISHER
LEADING THE WORLD IN FIRE TECHNOLOGY
The P50 low-maintenance extinguisher is the latest development in the UK fire extinguisher industry. These extinguishers are certified to EN3 and MED with a 20 year life, requiring no discharge testing or re-fills for 10 years.
We have used design technology pioneered by motor racing, defence, aircraft and aerospace industries. It uses an extremely tough, yet light fibre material from the aramid family known by the name Kevlar. Kevlar is so tough it is used as the primary composite material in Gas Bottles, bulletproof vests and fire proof gloves!
The P50 is designed to remove corrosion and reduce maintenance because it only requires a simple visual inspection and checking of the gauges. Unlike standard fire extinguishers the P50 requires: No discharge testing at 5 years
MAINTENANCE INSPECTION RACING CAR BODYWORK
AIRPLANE MANUFACTURE
The P50 is approved under EN3 with additional testing to the composite butane and propane gas cylinder regulations witnessed by Apragaz. Under these gas cylinder regulations a 12,000-cycle test is required. The test is 0 to 25 Bar, 12,000 times, after which the unit must complete the crush test and the burst tests as EN3 requires. All extinguishers must pass a minimum 55 bar test. However P50 extinguishers have a burst pressure consistently reaching in excess of 85 bar.
KEVLAR HAS BEEN USED IN MANY APPLICATIONS
No corrosion checks
The extinguisher maintenance programme is a simple two step process which staff members can carry out on a monthly basis.
APPROVALS & TESTING MUCH HIGHER THAN EN3!
Fire testing is carried out in Britannia’s purpose built facility, witnessed by Apragaz and British Standards.

This innovative design uses magnetic gauges for checking and certifying the operational pressure. Added features of being corrosion free, lightweight and extremely durable.
