PARTNERSHIP CASE STUDIES

Delivering CELTA teacher training with Oxford Brookes University British Study Centres partners with Oxford Brookes University in the delivery of the Cambridge CELTA teacher training qualification. This offers university students the chance to get a world-renowned teaching qualification alongside their degree. What was Oxford Brookes looking for? Oxford Brookes wanted to offer a professional teaching qualification to enhance the career prospects of students in the Languages, Linguistics and Education departments. As an authorised teacher centre with years of experience delivering expert CELTA training, British Study Centres was the perfect choice.

Why CELTA? Students choose this module because CELTA is the most widely recognised English teaching qualification in the world. It’s the qualification most often requested by employers and three out of four English language teaching jobs require a CELTA qualification. After this module, students graduate university with a Cambridge English teaching qualification that could be used in looking for their first teaching job, or to prove to employers that they have the teaching skills with a recognised certificate.

Since 2017, BSC Oxford Teacher Training has worked closely with Oxford Brookes University to deliver the CELTA course as an adjunct to the English Teaching to Adults module. We’re happy to continue this successful partnership with such a trusted and reputable training institution. CH R ISTO PH ER R IZ Z A, OXFO R D B R O O K ES UN IVER S ITY
