Use this online self-assessment tool to evaluate your institute’s English language programme in its current form and get a better understanding of your developmental needs.
STEP THREE: Identify developmental resources
Look at the resources available for your students, your teachers and your institution and decide which are the most relevant for you and how they can help you develop.
STEP FOUR: Invest
Meeting the standards required to join the ELQS Membership Network will require preparation. Think carefully about what investment you might need to reach this level of quality. Contact us and sign up for our Consultancy Service to receive expert advice on your pathway to developmental success. The Consultancy Service is highly recommended and half the cost is refundable if membership is achieved.
STEP FIVE: Apply for your review
Once you are ready for your review, complete a declaration form. This provides information about your institution relevant to the requirements of the ELQS Membership Network and signals your intent to take the review. We will agree with you a date for your review and identify two reviewers.
STEP SIX: Prepare for your review
There are a number of important steps that you need to follow to ensure that your review happens correctly. Details of these can be found in the Membership Guide.
STEP SEVEN: Take your review
The review will last for two days and will focus on documentary evidence, classroom observation and focus groups with students, parents and teachers.
STEP EIGHT: Wait for the result of your review
The reviewers will compile a report within two weeks of the visit. This will be moderated by the Membership Advisory Group who will decide on membership based on the reviewers’ recommendation. If you are operating at level 4, you will be able to join the ELQS Membership Network
