Dear Parents, We are already halfway through the July summer course and the students are making great progress. The RED students have been learning about the different sports they enjoy playing, their favourite school subjects, illnesses and going to the doctor, and how to talk about what they did at the weekend. The YELLOW students have been learning about their favourite types of television programmes, the jobs they’d like to do when they’re older, finding their way around the city, and weather-related disasters. Parents’ day will be on the last day of the course: Tuesday 28 July

Our Word Monsters Red and Yellow classes with Huw have been adding words to their monsters. How many words do you think their monsters can eat?
Television Simon’s Yellow group have made a great 3D display about their favourite television programmes using models made from plasticine.
Holiday Postcards Huw’s Red class have been talking about their holidays and have made some great postcards of the places they have visited.
Sport Simon’s group have made fantastic 3D boardgames about sport.
Competitions Don’t forget to enter our calendar competition - you could win a prize of 20 euros!
Draw or paint a picture or write a short poem or passage about the month you want to submit. It must be your own, original work. Winners will be published in next year’s calendar and win a prize. Closing date: 11 September 2015
