December 2013 Meet the Staff for 2013/2014
Dear Parents and Students, With Christmas just around the corner, we hope our students have enjoyed the first term, made the most of their classes and learned a lot of English! Classes resume on Wednesday, 8th January, 2014. Hopefully you will have been able to attend the teacher-parent meetings on 20th December, but if not, and you need to speak to a teacher or to myself, do not hesitate to contact me on 660 467 459 or call the Martínez Campos site on 91 337 35 92. Teacher-parent interviews can be arranged either at SEK or at the Martínez Campos site. You can also contact your child’s teacher directly through the Portal. I am available to speak to you on Mondays, Wednesdays from 12.00 p.m. - 15.00 p.m. and on Friday’s from 12.00 p.m.—15.00 p.m. and 16.00 p.m.—18.00 p.m.

By now familiar faces at SEK, Gabriel teaches Yellow A and Pink, Jan is with the Junior 2’s, and also the Panda group, Suzy is with Yellow B and the Tigers, Brian is with the Red groups and Finola is with both the Junior 1 groups.

Library News
Brian’s Reds have been working on designing and ideal town….
With the library is as popular as ever, many students have now completed the dinosaur and animal record sheets and have moved on to our next reading écheme. This year all levels have their own booklet of reading reviews to complete. This year’s Christmas Card Competition was won by Pablo Fernández Vasconcellos of Yellow in Martínez Campos. Thank you to all of you students at SEK who entered the competition. There were so many amazing entries that it was very difficult to choose a winner. We hope you will try again next year!
