Bill Doukatos, PR3 My name is Bill. I am nine years old. My favourite game is basketball. I like to eat spaghetti, eggs and meat. I have two brothers, Spyros and Nick. We live in Agios Dimitrios in Athens. My school is the Costeas-Geitonas School in Pallini. My best friend is Jim. I always get up at 6:30 and I go to bed at 9:00 in the evening.

Ocelots are small animals, like wild cats. They are about 20-25 pounds and they live for 7-10 years. They have a small head and brown spotted fur. Ocelots eat small animals and fish and they live in South America, Mexico and Texas. Ocelots are very beautiful animals. This is why they are threatened by hunting.

The mountain goat is between 100-200 kilos. It lives in North America. It is a very big animal and it is white. It lives for 12-15 years. It eats grass and it is beautiful.

Kangaroos are marsupials. They carry their babies in a pouch on the front of their bodies. Their bodies have got grey, brown or red hair. They are big animals. They weigh between 25 and 60 kilos. They live in the wild for 6 to 8 years. Kangaroos live in Australia and Tasmania, in forests, woodlands and plains. They eat grass and can live a long time without water. They can run up to 48 kilometres an hour and can jump 9 metres. They are beautiful animals.

This is a penguin. Penguins are water birds and they can't fly. They are black and white and look like a tuxedo. They weigh 27-40 kilos and live for 15-20 years. Penguins live in the southern hemisphere. They eat fish and raise their young on land. Penguins are social and beautiful birds.

The walrus is a big animal. It is brown and weighs 2,000 kilos. It's got a very big nose. It lives in Antarctica. It lives for 30 years. It eats small fish and it's a very ugly and fat animal!

A polar bear is a very big animal. It has thick white fur. It weighs from 200 to 700 kilos. It's got a long neck and a narrow head. Its front feet are large and flat. It lives in the Arctic. It lives for 25 years. It eats seals, walruses, small whales and birds. It's a beautiful animal. Did you know? Polar bears don't need to drink water: they get it from the animals they eat.

Bobcats are the most common wild cats in North America. They live in forests, mountains and deserts. It is named so for its short bobbed tail. Their fur is beige or brown, with dark brown or black spots or lines. They are 8-14 kilos and live for 12-13 years. They eat small animals like deer or pigs and they are great hunters. Bobcats are beautiful wild animals and they are threatened by fur-hunting and farmers' hunting.
