TECTUM
A prefabricated roofing system made up of used PVC pipes recycled into overlapping half round tiles and a rain catching system to efficiently store and reuse water. The half round tiling system insulates the roof from leaks and drives rainwater down to the gutter where it is then stored into a tank made of a large PVC pipe. Tectum is suited for low income housing, pre-fabricated homes, agricultural buildings, and industrial factories that use water in their processes. Created by Kristen Tapping
1
Rainfall gets caught onto PVC half round tiles and glides down the crevices

3
Water flows through funneling pipe into a storage tank located in yard or inside the house
Water trickles from tiles to gutter and flows into the funneling pipe where a basic filter stops larger elements

Tectum is also ideally suited to provide water for non-potable use in regular commercial buildings as well as in industrial processing plants such as petrolium refineries, smelting factories, water injection moulding factories, and more.
Tectum can be painted to customer preference leading to low cost adherence to neighborhood standards and regulations.
