In 2017 we established British Safety Council (India) LLP and opened our Mumbai office. We offer a range of qualifications for every stage of career development from Level 1 to professional diplomas.

Level 2 qualifications For managers and supervisors, and for those with responsibility for carrying out workplace risk assessments.

Certificate level qualifications For those with responsibility for aspects of an organisation’s health and safety. Meets the academic requirement for technical membership of IOSH (Tech IOSH).

Diploma level qualifications For full-time health and safety managers. Meets the academic requirement for graduate membership of IOSH (Grad IOSH). An important step towards chartered status.

IOSH Working Safely

A short course in the essentials of health and safety in the workplace. Aimed at all workers in all types of organisation.

• Focuses on best practice rather than legislation, and is suitable for employees around the world

Duration Online option – four to five hours.

• Successful candidates are awarded a Working Safely certificate from the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH)

Assessment • Your workplace option:

• As well as traditional health and safety measures, the course contains a module on protecting the environment. Who is it for? All employees in all workplaces. This course is about giving everyone a grounding in the essentials of health and safety. Content The course is arranged into five modules: 1. Introducing working safely

Total recommended learning – 24 hours.

Who is it for? Managers and supervisors. The course provides all the information they need to manage health and safety in their teams.

IEMA Foundation Certificate in Environmental Management

This course covers a wide range of environmental, sustainability, business and governance principles and issues, as well as technical knowledge and skills.

• Develops and assesses your knowledge, understanding and application of environmental management and assessment • Upon successful completion of the course and assessment, students can apply for Associate Membership of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA). Who is it for? Anyone starting a career in environmental management or requiring competency to contribute within their role to an organisation’s strategic sustainability goals.
