Application Information Thank you for your interest in working at The British School of Navarra. I hope that by reading through this document and visiting our school web site you will be encouraged to apply. The British School of Navarra will open in a stunning new building in Pamplona in August 2010 and will offer classes from Pre-Nursery – Year 2. The school is a part of The British Schools Group and is one of two schools opening in Spain in 2010, the other being The British School of Marbella. The group also operates schools in China (British School of Guangzhou & British School of Nanjing), Malaysia (British School of Kuala Lumpur) and Russia (International School of Moscow).
The British School of Navarra will be a new and exciting project and one which we are sure that you will find The British School Of Navarra an exciting and challenging place to work, both personally and professionally. It is not often that, as educators, you get an opportunity to be part of the establishment of a school, especially one as significant as this. You will enjoy working with a committed group of colleagues in a state of the art facility, which includes a wide range of teaching spaces linked by a powerful ICT infrastructure. The ideal candidate should be an experienced Foundation or Key Stage One Teacher with at least 3 years experience. It would also be beneficially if an additional subject can be offered in the fields of Music or P.E. More details... Our school is committed to providing a British Education of the highest quality to our students. All applicants should therefore be fully qualified and have at least three years relevant experience of teaching within either Foundation Stage or Key Stage One This post is a permanent contract for the August 2010 academic year for someone with the right qualities. We offer a competitive salary package, for a qualified teacher. The successful applicant will be expected to participate fully in the development of a rapidly expanding school. Teachers will be expected to become a valued member of the whole school team and participate fully in all school activities. All our teachers enjoy delightful working conditions, with small class sizes, well resourced classrooms equipped with an interactive white board and full time teaching assistants. The school is located in the centre of Pamplona, which is a city in Navarre, Spain. The city is famous worldwide for the San Fermin festival, in which the running of the bulls is one of the main attractions. Pamplona is located in the middle of Navarre, in a rounded valley known as the Cuenca de Pamplona, that links the mountainous North with the Ebro valley. The climate is oceanic with influences of continental mediterranean.
