Supplementing the courses L.S.E. encourages learner autonomy by asking students to continue to speak English outside the classroom, to take an active interest in where they are and to participate in the environment around them. Students are required to speak English in the recreational areas, and the student study centre. By taking responsibility for their own learning outside the classroom, we find that students progress quickly. School staff have a role in encouraging this at all times.
