LODGE

Andiamo Lodge is Alabama’s first experience lodge located in Mentone, Alabama. This creative retreat specializes in curated experiences from cheese making, to writing, exploring, and more. Let us curate your experience.

Whether you select one of our carefully curated rooms at the lodge or opt for the private cottage home away from home, Andiamo’s accommodations reflect the best of art and nature. Our goal is to bring the outdoors indoors — so you can feel truly at one with nature while bathing yourself in luxury.

Attention to detail and creating a unique experience are the cornerstones of our mission to become your first choice when searching for more than just a place to rest your head. The main lodge is home to the gourmet kitchen and communal dining room and great room that is divided by a majestic floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace.

ROOM 1

Bathed in warm white shiplap walls, guests will enjoy sleeping snuggled in refined Peacock Alley made-in-the-USA bed linens beneath a vaulted ceiling and original works by New Orleans encaustic artist Vicki Lee. A stone fireplace stands front and center for cozying up in front of on chilly nights atop the mountain. Outfitted with Lather toiletries, the bathroom is quite spacious. One unique feature of the room is the original chimney is now the Shower.

ROOM 2

Twinning! The bright white shiplap walls and exposed wood beams serve as the backdrop in this twin bed room. The live edge mantel on the stone fireplace adds an elegant yet rustic touch. Antique furniture, objects, and artifacts found on Andiamo’s grounds adorn the room. The Redland Cotton linens made in Alabama on each bed will leave you reminiscing about your childhood days at camp…gone Luxe. The bathroom has Lather toiletries and plenty of space for two.

ROOM 3

Exposed beams and soft gray walls pick up the earthy tones of the stone fireplace with its live edge mantel. Locally crafted Parson side tables made from lumber excavated from the lodge renovation flank the queen-sized bed. High thread-count American-made Peacock Alley linens are dreamy to slip into. Hang your jacket on the hooks by the door, cozy up to the fire, kick your feet up, and reeeelax!

ROOM 4

You can practically smell the mood-enhancing aroma of sage, the color that bathes the shiplap walls of this vaulted room with exposed wood beams, a stone fireplace with an exquisite live edge mantel, hardwood floors throughout and Parson side tables repurposed from the lodge renovation. This room will make you want to invite your friends over. The queen-sized bed is enveloped in luxurious American-made Peacock Alley linens and the bathroom outfitted with Lather toiletries. With room for morning yoga in front of a fire, “Om” is what you’ll be chanting when you settle in here.

ROOM 5

Pretty in Pink. Come rest your head on pale pink pillows. A rosé toned easy chair with its matching ottoman and a blush flecked rug accent the rich taupe shiplap walls. The nailhead linen headboard and the sumptuous American-made Peacock Alley linens beneath the exposed beams of the vaulted ceiling will send you to the lodge in search of a classical book to match the classical feel of this room. Perhaps a bubble bath with toiletries from Lather before a fireside read in front of the stone fireplace. Did someone say hot toddy? We can bring you one from the bar.

ROOM 6

The warm slate colored shiplap walls of these quarters are adorned with found antlers and a painting with a hunting scene. The queen-sized nailhead bed is made up with oh-so-soft American-made Peacock Alley linens. Beneath the natural wood vaulted ceiling, wicker fireside chairs, a cowhide rug, and a retro solid wood chest of drawers leave guests wondering whether Hemingway stayed here. With creativity brewing all around Andiamo Lodge, there’s limited time to enjoy the precious scent of Lather toiletries in the spacious bathroom. For whom does this belle room toll?

THE COTTAGE

Andiamo!

The Cottage, although private, is not far from the main lodge. It features two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a full kitchen, and a dining room. Enjoy the cozy wood-burning fireplace as you rest, recharge and rejuvenate. With plenty of seating in the living area, it’s the perfect place to share a day’s worth of storytelling after a quiet meditative day or a custom Andiamo-curated day of activities. The loft ensuite bedroom has a queen-size sleigh bed outfitted with both Red Cotton bedding and Peacock Alley linens. The large master bedroom in The Cottage has a king size bed made up with Peacock Alley bedding that is as inviting as it is beautiful. With its own screened in porch—porch swing and comfy chairs, the break of dawn with coffee in hand or a nightcap with the crickets are command performances here. To top it all off, you have your own fire pit at the cottage, hammocks and plenty of room for games on the lawn.

The food at Andiamo Lodge is absolutely part of the memorable experience you’ll take with you from your stay with us. The majority of the food you will enjoy at Andiamo Lodge is sourced locally and regionally. It is a mix of local and organic vegetables, eggs, and meat (whenever possible). This also means our menus are often crafted seasonally and sustainably - to give you the freshest produce possible. And, homemade ice cream is always a favorite here at the lodge.

Our guests enjoy a complimentary breakfast with our signature custom blend coffee during their stay. You can even arrange to enjoy your coffee in your room.

If you wish to enjoy lunch and/or dinner with us - you simply have to let us know in advance so we can accommodate your needs. Celebrating something special? We also can plan special celebratory dinners (birthdays, holidays, anniversaries, etc.), events, and dinner parties through our concierge service.

The attention to detail …. from the personalized decor of each room with stacked stone fireplaces and Italian linens …. to the exquisite breakfasts consisting of local fare … to the fresh, inventive cocktails served at sunset on linen cocktail napkins adorned with funny quotations alongside gourmet nibbles … the Andiamo truly lives up to its motto of “Let’s go.”
