WEDDING COLLECTION I believe that your wedding is more than just a day - it’s a life altering covenant which is worthy of being captured with much thought and attention to detail. In sixteen years of photographing, I’ve found that the most powerful & effective way to document is by allowing time for natural connection & emotion to happen. When you pair this with the timeless medium of film, magic happens. My approach to building a wedding collection is a bit unconventional, but very intentional. I do not offer stand alone eight hour collections because I believe that rushing something that was intended to be slow and purposeful, causes us to lose the very thing that makes images & story come alive. Nuances that make you who you are, both individually and collectively disappear in an effort to fit within a timeline. In order to create space and opportunity for authenticity, we have removed time constraints, and focused our efforts on fostering a relationship that allows complete confidence and trust on wedding day! It is one of my greatest honors and joys to get to work closely with couples to create images that beautifully tell the story of the most important day of their lives!

TRAVEL I have a deep love for travel. One that is rooted in my passion for adventure and furthered by my first few years capturing the stories of organizations and people internationally. It was then that I learned the art of visual communication when there is no common language, and the importance of preserving the authenticity of a story. The lessons learned in the humanitarian space have carried over and given me a journalistic approach to photography. I have had the joy of photographing stories in Central & South America, Africa, Australia, India, Thailand, and everywhere in between. I am available for travel worldwide, and would love to be a part of sharing your story!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Q: What type of photography do you offer & what is your style? My background in humanitarian work and my love for film combines both a documentary and fine art approach to photography. I believe that the raw emotion & genuine interactions of your wedding day are some of the most valuable memories you will hold. We work incredibly hard to create space where this happens naturally so that the images you receive are a representation of exactly who you are. We also believe that these memories should be beautifully documented in a way that would allow you to display them on your wall. We are constantly looking for powerful vignettes & details that beautifully portray your wedding day!
Q: Do you shoot digital or film? I work with both digital & film mediums to capture a wedding day. I believe that each tool is useful for different situations. Film has an authenticity to it that is unmatched. The way that it capture’s light, color & movement gives a timelessness to your images that cannot be replicated by digital. However, digital is an excellent tool for low light situations - like your reception or indoor ceremonies where natural light is scarce. When you receive your wedding gallery, all of the photos will be edited to create a seamless, cohesive set of images.
Q: When will we receive our images? The standard turn around time for a complete gallery is 6-8 weeks.
Q: I have a series of poses that I would like done at my wedding - will you work off of a shot list? With the exception of family formals & a few key details that we will ask you for in a very detailed wedding day form, we do not accept shot lists or Pinterest boards for weddings. We have found that shot lists have a tendency to distract us from moments of genuine connection, so we ask that our clients trust our style & method in creating.
Q: Has your work ever been published? We feel really fortunate to have been featured by both local and national publications such as Brides, Southern Weddings, Grey Likes, Heirloom, Dear Gray, and more! You can see our complete list of publication features on our website!
Q: We are putting together a unique & detailed wedding that we would love to get published - is this something you can help us with? We are always happy to give our clients direction on what publications are looking for! We cannot guarantee that a wedding will be published, but will make every effort to help as best we can! If we know that you will be submitting a wedding for publication ahead of time, we will work with your planner & designer to make sure that your itinerary gives us ample time to photograph additional details that are imperative for publication.
Q: Do you travel? Yes!! If travel were a love language - it would be mine! I’ve been fortunate enough to photograph all over the world! Many of my favorite weddings & assignments have been in Central America, Africa, Australia & Canada. I have a current passport, and am confident in managing the additional logistics that come with destination weddings!
Q: We are ready to book! How do we start the process? We are absolutely thrilled to have the opportunity to work with you! The first thing that we will do is set up a coffee date (or Facetime date if you are out of town) just so that we have a chance to get to know each other! From there, we will discuss the exact details of your wedding day and what collection will work best for you. I will put together a detailed proposal, contract and invoice that will be sent to you via e-mail. The only two things we require to confirm your wedding are a 50% retainer & a signed contract. All of this can be done online, making the process really simple! Simply shoot us an e-mail and we will walk you through the process!
