Some of my most treasured polaroids are of my family. Having a physical representation of the legacy my grandparents and great grandparents left behind has always been such an important reminder of the value of family. I believe that family sessions are about more than capturing your family in perfect form - its about capturing who you are together. It’s about the gut wrenching laughs and the sweet giggles and the big bear hugs that only your little one can give. Those are the moments and the memories that you will cherish forever.

I believe that the details matter. The way your little ones reaches for you when they are tired, or rest in your lap while you read them a book. The way they squeal when you toss them in the air, or play hide & go seek. The crooked little smile they give you when they know they've done something they shouldn't, but are way too cute to discipline.These are the things that you want to preserve, and hold on to because they matter tremendously. These are the beautiful, messy, in-betweens that make you who you are as a family.
