The purpose of this project is to simulate the planning and buying process. Briana, and her group took the steps to research, plan, and execute the buying plan for Express Men's Outerwear. This project helped draw upon out abilities to understand the key components of retail merchandising, control and planning. In the course of 10 weeks, we critically analyzed Express Men's Outerwear, market forces, customer needs and wants, and competitive landscape, to create a realistic and compelling 6-month buying plan.
I was responsible for completing the financials for the overall Express business for Men's Outerwear, as well as the 3 A,B & D store buying plans.Also, I was responsible for creating a assortment plan for the F/W 2014 Men's Outerwear department, as well as designing new outerwear for Express Inc.
