The islands offer a diverse range of activities to suit every holiday-makers requirements. Set sail for St. Vincent and the Grenadines and you’ll think you’ve sailed into paradise. The Grenadines stretch for 45 miles south from the island of St. Vincent. Explore them in a few days or take a lifetime, in conditions which are consistently near perfect. Visibility of 30 miles or more is quite common with NE.SE trade winds of 10 to 25 knots and gentle West North West currents of 1-2 knots. These friendly waters welcome the novice and experienced sailors alike.

Regattas

Sailing and Yachting in St. Vincent and the Grenadines

A necklace of 32 islands and cays in the Eastern Caribbean, with spectacular landscapes, beautiful beaches and turquoise blue waters. Welcome to one of the most unspoilt island groups.

The Bequia Regatta and the Easterval (Union Island) take place during the Easter Weekend. The weekend activities include boat races, sports and games, calypso and other competitions. The Canuoan Regatta takes place during the Whitsuntide weekend.

A wide range of service supplies for visiting yachts people are available, including complete yacht provisioning, well stocked chandleries, sail lofts, fuel, water and propane. Yachts can be hauled at Bequia Slip and Ottley Hall shipyard. “Always make sure you’re supplied before Sundays”.

On arrival in or departure from St. Vincent and the Grenadines waters, yachts must clear customs and immigration at a designated port of entry. T hese are Wallilabou Bay and Kingstown Harbour on St. Vincent; Port Elizabeth on Bequia; Britannia Bay on Mustique; Charlestown Bay on Canouan; and Clifton Harbour on Union Island.
