“I can confidently say that the diverse and challenging courses of the MSc. Materials Physics (MSMP) program at Brock University played a pivotal role in preparing me for my current position as a quantitative finance researcher at BCA Research. Beyond academics, I established a club combining interest in physics and finance and served on the university Graduate Student Association (GSA), enhancing my resume, and providing me with valuable insights into management and leadership skills, that have proven to be essential in my current role. One of the standout features of the MSMP program is the opportunity to delve into specialized physics courses like computational physics, statistical physics, and research projects. These courses allowed me to approach problems with a purely quantitative perspective and utilize programming to find innovative solutions.” -
