Motsa Mai Tomassini

Rooted in Architecture and Cinema his interests naturally broadened out to societal issues overtime. Often times in the form of a hybrid output he is interested in artistic open processes, where art springs out of a dialogue led through different media. He studied film direction and screenplay in Florence and later on he studied documentary movie making in Cuba.Throughout the last seven years he has been engaged in several associations, collectives and groups carrying out projects of different sorts that ranged from bottom-up editorial projects to workshops and self-made architectural installations in public spaces. Today he is an active member of the Ground Tour Project and he is strongly interested in researching and speculating onto those places where reality and imagination collide, where differences are blended and other futures possibly materialized.
